Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roger Rabbit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raymond Lam! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rabbit connects with a jab. Rabbit finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lam shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rabbit sprawls well. Rabbit wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lam gets slowly back to his feet. Lam with a poor takedown and Rabbit counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lam thinking. A jab from Rabbit finds it's way through Lam's defenses. Rabbit rushes Lam and presses him up against the cage. Lam blocks an elbow strike. Rabbit lands a body punch. Lam is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rabbit is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lam to the mat. Lam regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Rabbit slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lam trying to keep a closed guard but Rabbit is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rabbit throws a strike but Lam rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Lam trying to control the position from guard on top but Rabbit is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Raymond Lam was stalling too much, according to the referee. Lam gets caught flat footed, as Rabbit shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rabbit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lam swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rabbit slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Lam tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rabbit trying to control the position from guard on top but Lam is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rabbit postures up.
Rabbit wants to control from the top but Lam keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Roger Rabbit. Lam fails with a takedown attempt. Roger Rabbit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raymond Lam.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rabbit clobbers Lam with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Rabbit closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lam did well to prevent Rabbit getting side control. Rabbit is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lam doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rabbit. Lam trying to hold on to Rabbit's head to control him but Rabbit postures up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rabbit looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rabbit wants to take a breather but Lam is having none of it. Rabbit wants to advance to full mount but Lam doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Lam is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Rabbit holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lam performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lam is looking to take a break and control but Rabbit is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roger Rabbit dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Rabbit tries a head kick but it misses.
Lam tries to clinch but Rabbit moves away and Rabbit counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lam shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rabbit but Rabbit pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rabbit throws a hook but Lam avoids it easily. Lam tries to clinch up. Rabbit shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Rabbit with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Lam tries to get to full guard but Rabbit has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lam makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lam. Lam looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lam throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Rabbit knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lam on the ground. Rabbit preventing the sweep. Rabbit is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Rabbit wants to control from the top but Lam keeps moving. Rabbit is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lam is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Roger Rabbit wasn't doing enough on the ground. Lam throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rabbit's waist but Rabbit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lam off to one side. Rabbit shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lam napping and manages to drive through into side control! Rabbit wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lam keeps working. Rabbit taking a breather here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lam is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rabbit off and has taken his back! Lam is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Rabbit really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Lam's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position. Lam has the hooks in. Rabbit is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Rabbit trying to control the position but Lam manages to sink in the hooks. Roger Rabbit overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lam missing with strikes. Rabbit is keeping busy.
Lam scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Rabbit is looking for a way out. A lull in the action here.
Rabbit wants to escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rabbit is working hard here to advance position. Lam is not going to allow Rabbit to sit and survive in this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Roger Rabbit will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Lam defending well as Rabbit loads up on a big left hand. Lam shoots in and drives through. Rabbit sprawls well. Rabbit digs a good body shot into Lam's ribs. Rabbit displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lam. Lam takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Lam blocks a jab. Lam shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rabbit as he avoids it easily. Roger Rabbit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raymond Lam. Rabbit throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lam stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Rabbit gets caught napping as Lam dives in and scores a takedown. Rabbit manages to retain guard. Lam postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rabbit keeping moving, preventing Lam from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rabbit is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rabbit working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lam. Rabbit looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Lam passes into side control.
Lam in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rabbit wants to control but Lam postures up. Lam lands an elbow. Lam throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Lam lands some shots froms side control. Rabbit is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lam's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Lam missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rabbit is defending against the submission attempts here by Lam.
Rabbit slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lam advances to half guard. Lam is keen to just control but Rabbit is a slippery customer. Lam prevents Rabbit from improving his position. Lam is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Rabbit regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rabbit working a defensive guard but Lam manages to pass into side control anyway.
Lam wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rabbit keeps working. Lam tries for a kimura but Rabbit is defending well. Rabbit looks to move to half guard but instead Lam has passed into mount! Damn! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lam dominating with strikes here.
And that's the end of the fight! Raymond Lam comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Rabbit has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Roger Rabbit wins by unanimous decision! A relieved looking Roger Rabbit thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
