The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swarley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Durango pinned against the cage. Durango gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A left and a right from Durango both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Bob Swarley has been cut. Swarley throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Swarley fails with a takedown attempt. Durango connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. This has been an exciting period of action! Swarley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Durango avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Swarley. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Swarley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Silva is breathing heavily. Silva takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Mark Silva has been cut. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Sisphar! Silva is out on his feet! Sisphar rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Silva is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Silva is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

I think Durdun might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Where is My Mind. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rua fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Durdun, pushing him back against the cage. Durdun is defending well against a takedown attempt. Rua has Durdun pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Durdun manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Durdun is defending well against a takedown attempt. Tyler Durdun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Rua. Durdun working hard to break the clinch. Durdun prevents the takedown attempt.
Durdun is trying to push Rua away but Rua has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Durdun is trying to break the clinch but Rua is controlling him. It looks like Tyler Durdun has been cut. Durdun swats away the attempt to clinch by Rua. Durdun lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rua circles away quickly and effectively. Rua clinches. Rua keeps control of Durdun as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Durdun breaks from the clinch.
Durdun keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Durdun tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Durdun lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rua backs up against the cage.
It looks like Brock Rua has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rua rushes Durdun and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rua is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Durdun can't fight it off and eventually Rua manages to take the fight to the floor. Durdun looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Durdun wants to get back to his feet but Rua is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Rua would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Rua wants to control from the top but Durdun keeps moving. Durdun controls Rua momentarily but Rua frees himself. Rua is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Rua won't allow Durdun to get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Brock Rua. Durdun lands with a kick to the ribs.
Durdun thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Rua if he has to take too many more of those.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rua has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Durdun after a bit of a struggle. Durdun looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Durdun has had enough of the clinch but Rua keeps him there for the moment. Durdun is trying to break free. Durdun gets underhooks to prevent Rua's takedown attempt.
Rua goes for a takedown in the clinch but Durdun prevents it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Brock Rua will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rua closes the distance and clinches. Rua is trying to drag Durdun to the mat but Durdun just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Rua drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Durdun gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Tyler Durdun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Rua. Durdun is trying to break the clinch but Rua is controlling him. Rua gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Durdun keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Durdun is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rua decides to stand and escape the position. Durdun moves into range and connects with a jab. Rua tries to clinch up but Durdun circles away and keeps his distance. Durdun drops Rua with a beautiful combination! Rua stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Durdun is looking for the KO!
Rua is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Durdun fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rua. A telegraphed right hand from Durdun misses the target. Durdun feints and then cracks Rua's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rua down. Rua walks into a jab. Rua is still on wobbly legs! Can Durdun finish him?
That has opened up Brock Rua's cut even more. Durdun misses with a head kick.
Rua seems to have recovered his senses. Rua moves in looking to clinch but Durdun pushes him off. Durdun throws a nice outside leg kick. Durdun lands a big head kick that sends Rua tumbling to the mat! Durdun takes a step backwards and waves Rua back to his feet - he wants the finish!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice combination there by Rua.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Durdun here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Rua is breathing heavily. A punch combination from Durdun misses. Durdun turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Rua doesn't manage to clinch there - Durdun circles away.
Durdun lands a leg kick that knocks Rua off balance momentarily. Rua has closed the distance and engaged Durdun in a clinch.
Durdun prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rua keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Durdun's efforts to push away. Durdun can't break the clinch.
Durdun is trying to break the clinch but Rua is controlling him. Durdun wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Durdun wants to get back to striking at distance but Rua won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durdun is trying to push Rua away but Rua has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Durdun is trying to break the clinch but Rua is controlling him. Rua is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Rua can't get the takedown.
Durdun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Durdun throws a quick inside leg kick. Rua drops his hands momentarily and Durdun needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Rua just on the top of the head. Rua drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Rua - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Tyler Durdun! A very excited looking Tyler Durdun rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

McKendrick lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rudd! Rudd flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

But Rudd has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rudd! Rudd stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McKendrick swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rudd preventing the sweep. Rudd is working McKendrick over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Rudd trying to control the position from guard on top but McKendrick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McKendrick looking for a sweep. Not yet McKendrick, not yet.

McKendrick scores with punches to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McKendrick is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Rudd knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Rudd for a finish. McKendrick gets his hands free as Rudd looks to control. McKendrick just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Rudd is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get McKendrick off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McKendrick looking for the choke but no joy. McKendrick looking for the choke from the back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rudd rolls with it to try and escape but McKendrick cranks on the arm and Rudd is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Omega lands with a good body shot. Omega scores with a hook. Omega doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Omega feints a jab promting Maddox to slip. Omega then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Maddox slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Omega misses with a hook. Maddox ducked under it nicely. Maddox swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Omega tests Maddox's chin there with a solid looking shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Maddox thows a body shot but no joy. Omega misses with a low kick. Omega scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Omega avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Omega cracks the inside of Maddox's front leg. Omega throws out a loose jab but Maddox uses good head movement to avoid it. Maddox throws a push kick but Omega slaps the foot to one side. Omega throws a head kick that misses. Omega turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Omega scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Maddox throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Omega sees it coming and avoids it easily. Decent striking displayed by Omega there. Maddox scores with a body shot.

Maddox is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Omega's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Omega lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Omega scores with a slapping inside leg kick. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Maddox takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Omega fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Maddox. Maddox shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Omega pinned against the cage. Omega gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A jab from Castle finds it's way through Stoltfus's defenses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stoltfus closes this distance looking for a takedown but Castle circles away.
