The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cambrona tries to clinch there but Smack circles away.
Cambrona tries to close the distance and clinch but Smack swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cambrona tries to clinch but Smack is having none of it. Cambrona tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Cambrona. Cambrona closes the distance and lands a one-two. No joy there for Cambrona, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cambrona lands a two punch combo.
Nice straight punches there by Smack. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Smack. This has been an exciting period of action! Smack lands a lovely overhand right. Smack explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Cambrona has closed the distance and engaged Smack in a clinch.
Cambrona creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Smack keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cambrona's efforts to push away. Smack working some nice short punches in the clinch. Smack pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Smack breaks the clinch.

Cambrona tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Smack counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Smack thows a left - swing and a miss! Smack waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cambrona. Good work by Cambrona as he checks the leg kick. Cambrona swinging wildly here.

Cambrona is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cambrona tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cambrona is still on wobbly legs! Can Smack finish him? Cambrona tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smack was well out of range. Poor timing from Cambrona. Cambrona gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Smack gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy left from Mustacho finds it's target. Westerlund shoots and misses and Mustacho counters with a left to the body. Westerlund slips a jab and a cross from Mustacho.
Mustacho scores with the left hand. Westerlund knows he should have avoided that one. Westerlund fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A decent looking cross lands there for Mustacho. Mustacho throws a right and a left that both miss. Westerlund tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mustacho sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Westerlund somewhat. Daemon Mustacho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edvard Westerlund. This has been an exciting period of action! Westerlund misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mustacho changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Westerlund takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Mustacho scores with a jab to the body. Mustacho displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Westerlund. Mustacho throws a shot to the body.

Westerlund will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Daemon Mustacho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. It's a sloppy attempt though and Westerlund jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Westerlund throws a big elbow that misses. Mustacho wants to stand but Westerlund is controlling the position. Mustacho is trying to keep Westerlund in close.
Westerlund postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Westerlund accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mustacho wriggles free and stands up. Mustacho throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Westerlund tries to move into range but Mustacho moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Westerlund fails to land the takedown. Daemon Mustacho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edvard Westerlund. Mustacho slaps away a takedown attempt from Westerlund, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mustacho lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Westerlund backs up against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Westerlund dives in and grabs Mustacho's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mustacho pushes down on Westerlund's head and hops out. Mustacho stuns Westerlund with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Westerlund fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mustacho drops Westerlund with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Westerlund looks back up at him and smiles so Mustacho waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Mustacho cracks Westerlund with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Mustacho cracks Westerlund with a right hand to the side of the head. Mustacho cracks Westerlund with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Westerlund tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Mustacho pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Westerlund is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

A very excited looking Daemon Mustacho made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Rey lands with an uppercut that bounces Petrov off the cage and back into range.
