Lee scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Black is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Lee can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Carlito Brigante seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
and Brigante counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Jones! He's just covering up as Brigante starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Doerner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Michael looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Doerner is working to tighten is grip on Michael's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Michael has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Doerner is really squeezing tight and eventually Michael passes out! Doerner breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Lecter closes the distance and clinches up with Jong, looking for a takedown. Lecter pushes Jong against the cage but Jong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jong wants to clinch up but Lecter keeps it at a distance.
Lecter shoots in for a takedown but Jong shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jong throws a head kick that Lecter semi-blocks.
A head kick from Jong lands but Lecter takes it in his stride.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jong tries to clinch up but Lecter circles away and keeps his distance.

Jong lands a big head kick that sends Lecter tumbling to the mat! Jong takes a step backwards and waves Lecter back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oh Lecter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jong jerks Lecter's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Lecter drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Jong goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Jong because Lecter was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
