The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garfunkle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dmitriyev moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Garfunkle lands with a good body shot. Dmitriyev throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Garfunkle. Dmitriyev misses with a takedown enabling Garfunkle to counter with a crisp jab. Dmitriyev throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Garfunkle. Dmitriyev wants to clinch but Garfunkle slips to the side and Garfunkle connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Garfunkle with a jab. Garfunkle scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Dmitriyev with a poor takedown and Garfunkle counters with a three punch combo that has Dmitriyev backing up. Dmitriyev nods at Garfunkle to acknowledge the strikes. Garfunkle keeps the fight on the outside. Garfunkle connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Dmitriyev tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Dmitriyev looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dmitriyev darts in trying to clinch and Garfunkle counters with a nice uppercut. Dmitriyev tries to close the distance and clinch but Garfunkle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Garfunkle dips to his left and cracks Dmitriyev with an uppercut! Dmitriyev moves forwards but Garfunkle connects with a nice, crisp jab. Dmitriyev shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Garfunkle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Dmitriyev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dmitriyev misses with a takedown and Garfunkle counters with a lovely shot to the body. Dmitriyev is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Garfunkle lands with an overhand left. Garfunkle shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dmitriyev eats them both and turns towards Garfunkle to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Dmitriyev tries to clinch but Garfunkle moves out of range. Garfunkle lands with a right hand.
Dmitriyev is rocked! I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Garfunkle has cracked Dmitriyev with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Garfunkle lands another huge swinging hook and Dmitriyev tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Dmitriyev, before Garfunkle can land any more shots!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koyama rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hardy moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hardy is looking to clinch but Koyama is avoiding it.
Koyama's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Koyama duly obliges. Nice takedown defense from Koyama. No joy for Hardy on that attempt. Koyama will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hardy throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Koyama's head. Hardy shoots for a takedown but Koyama saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Koyama sizes up Hardy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Koyama lands a really nice looking cross but Hardy seems unphased.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Koyama wants it to stay on the feet. Hardy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hardy goes for a takedown attempt but Koyama pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Hardy has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Hardy misses with a takedown attempt - Koyama sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Koyama lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Nice body punch from Koyama. Nice cross by Koyama. Koyama scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
And that's the end of the fight! Hideo Koyama showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Koyama, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ball gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bartas to score an easy takedown into full guard. Ball wants to sweep here but Bartas controlling him for the moment. Bartas trying to control the position from guard on top but Ball is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bartas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ball. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ball keeping full guard, as Bartas tries to pass. Bartas is pushing down on Ball's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ball is fighting to maintain full guard but Bartas has managed to sneak the leg through. Bartas looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bartas wants to take a breather but Ball is having none of it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bartas shoots in and bounces Ball off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ball working for a triangle but Bartas defends it easily.

Bartas doesn't defend quickly enough and Ball has managed to lock this one up! Can Bartas escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ball on a fantastic submission victory.

He's got his arms around Nikson's waist but Nikson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kowalski off to one side. Kowalski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Nikson doesn't manage to clinch there - Kowalski circles away.
Nikson wants to clinch up but Kowalski keeps it at a distance. Robby Nikson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nikson wants to clinch. Nikson tries to clinch and Kowalski counters with a nice double leg into guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Nikson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kowalski controls the pace. Kowalski lands a couple of decent looking shots. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kowalski is in close to Nikson's body, working some short punches and elbows. Kowalski wants to control from the top but Nikson keeps moving. Kowalski pushing down on Nikson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Nikson taking some punishment here, with Kowalski in his half guard. Nikson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nikson tries to get out of the position.

Kowalski landing a few strikes. Kowalski lands a few punches from side control. Kowalski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nikson keeps working. Nikson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kowalski on the ground. Kowalski works to advance to full mount. Nikson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Kowalski has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nikson's face.

Conlon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Anton, pushing him back against the cage. Anton drops down looking for an ankle pick but Conlon pulls his leg out and moves away.
Anton fails with the takedown and Conlon counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Anton! The referee warns Anton that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Anton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Conlon on the ground. Conlon fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Anton. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Anton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Anton misses with a takedown and Conlon counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Anton's guard now. Anton can't keep his opponent in guard - Conlon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Anton is looking for a sweep. Conlon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Conlon content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Conlon gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sand quickly recovers to half guard.
