Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, tj Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jordan Timmons!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miller clinches up with Timmons and pushes him back against the cage.
Miller has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Timmons is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Miller is trying to drag Timmons to the mat but Timmons just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Timmons is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Miller tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Miller has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Timmons is looking to regain half guard here but Miller keeps moving and retains side control.
Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Timmons is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Miller slips a nice elbow through Timmons's hands, connecting with Timmons's forehead.

Miller is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Timmons is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Timmons has escaped and now he's on top!

Miller is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Timmons defends well.

Miller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Timmons can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Miller is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Miller is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Timmons gets his way!

A big strike lands for Miller! That's really hurt Timmons and he's turned his back - Miller keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Miller jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
