Bakki misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pelton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Bakki counters with a takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Well XV has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Animai has one foot on Mcknight's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Mcknight shoots in for a takedown but Animai shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mcknight shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mcknight showed some decent athleticism there.
Animai is trying to maintain the position but Mcknight is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcknight postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Animai is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mcknight, into his guard.

Animai drops back looking for a leg! Mcknight is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcknight manages to kick Animai off! Animai jumps back into Mcknight's guard.

Animai is trying to work for a kimura but Mcknight is defending well.

Animai throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mcknight was covering up waiting for the punch and Animai finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Animai missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Animai sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mcknight's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Animai is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mcknight is just riding it out for now. Animai eventually gives up the hold.

Mcknight got a little sloppy there for a moment and Animai has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mcknight has managed to get both his arms back between Animai's legs - danger averted.

Mcknight reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mcknight taps out! Nice BJJ there by Animai!
