The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Golonka.
Waits fails in his attempt to clinch. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Golonka is defended easily by Waits. Waits moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Irus Golonka has been cut. Golonka staying out of range there. Waits walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Golonka checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Danga de danga de dang - Waits scores with a four punch combination! Golonka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Waits is fending him off so far but Golonka persists. Nope, Waits circles away and we're back to standing. Golonka fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Irus Golonka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Waits misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Golonka misses with a few strikes there.
Waits looks to land a right hand but Golonka moved out of range. Waits misses with a straight left. Golonka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Waits but Waits pushes him off and we're back to square one. Waits misses with a body shot.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Waits just misses with a elbow thrown towards Golonka's brow. Golonka blocks an elbow strike from Waits.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Waits. Waits tries a knee to the head but Golonka blocks it.
Golonka changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Waits fights it off and pushes away nicely.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Golonka. Waits misses with a body shot.
Waits throws a leg kick which misses Golonka's front leg but catches the back leg as Golonka tries to avoid it. Golonka walks into a stiff left hand from Waits. Golonka throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Golonka fails with a takedown attempt. Waits fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Golonka. Golonka misses with a double jab.
Golonka will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Waits lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Golonka at a distance.
Waits moves to clinch but Golonka breaks away and Golonka counters with a single leg into guard. Waits didn't expect that. Golonka drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Waits dives on top into guard. Golonka not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Golonka has his hands on Waits's head, controlling the position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Waits tries to free his leg and advance position but Golonka is retaining full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Irus Golonka just wasn't active enough. Waits gets a clinch. Waits pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Golonka wants a takedown but no success here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tom Waits hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. A looping hook to the body misses from Waits. Golonka does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Waits ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Golonka moves away. Golonka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Waits circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Irus Golonka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Golonka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Waits's waist but Waits gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Golonka off to one side. The fighters circling - Waits throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Irus Golonka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Waits doesn't manage to clinch there - Golonka circles away.
Golonka shoots in for a double leg but Waits sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Waits misses with a leg kick. Golonka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Waits pinned against the cage. Waits gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Golonka is defended easily by Waits.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Golonka uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Waits.
Waits looks to clinch and Golonka counters with a single leg into guard. Waits didn't expect that. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Golonka wants to pass the guard but Waits is keeping the position. Waits tries to land a sweep but no joy. Golonka passes easily into side control. Nice work. Golonka tries to move to mount but Waits blocks the move with his legs. Waits really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Golonka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Waits wants to control but Golonka postures up. Golonka will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Golonka goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Waits has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Golonka but great work by Waits. Golonka is looking for a sweep. Golonka gets back to half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Waits wants to advance to full mount but Golonka doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Waits wants to control from the top but Golonka keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Irus Golonka will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Irus Golonka's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richards loads up on a big right hand but Diaz slips the punch. Diaz misses with a jab, cross combination.
Diaz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Richards, right into the meat.
Richards connects with a crisp jab. Richards swings for the body but Diaz moves out of range.
Richards tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Richards lands a leg kick that knocks Diaz off balance momentarily. Richards swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Richards tries to clinch there but Diaz circles away.
Diaz is looking to score with low kicks. Diaz is looking to clinch. Richards throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Richards throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Richards cracks the inside of Diaz's front leg. Richards gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Richards gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Richards lands an elbow inside that Diaz shrugs off. Diaz is trying to break the clinch but Richards has him pressed against the cage. Diaz looks gassed! Richards lands a big right hand that sends Diaz crashing to the mat! Richards stays standing though and waves Diaz back to his feet! Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Richards finish him? The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diaz walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Richards! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Abedi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Triplett. That did some damage! Triplett misses with a two punch combination.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Pietrzak trying to control the position here. This has been an exciting period of action! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. A looping hook to the body misses from Lee. Mcgarry does a little dance to reset his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcgarry is defended easily by Lee. Mcgarry fails with the takedown and Lee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Mcgarry gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lee counters with a right hand to the body.
