Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Malik Camal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hugo Silva! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camal tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Silva rushes Camal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Silva has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Camal uses from the top position. Camal wants to get up but he can't break Silva's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Camal can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Silva has control of Camal's left arm, preventing Camal from doing any damage. Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Camal avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Silva.
Silva escapes and gets back to his feet. This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Silva trying to control the pace. Camal blocking the ground and pound attempt from Silva. Silva prevents Camal from standing back up.
Camal holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Camal trying to control from the bottom.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Silva moves into the clinch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Camal has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Silva is trying to stall.
Camal drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Camal is trying to pull guard but Silva has him pressed against the cage. Silva tries to pull guard but Camal holds him up against the cage and eventually Silva drops back down to his feet.
Camal wants the takedown. Silva is fighting it off but Camal persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Silva's guard against the cage. Camal looking to sit in guard and control but Silva gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Silva throwing strikes from guard but Camal blocks nicely.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Camal's guard. Camal trying to control from the bottom.
Silva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Silva wants to control but Camal is keeping him busy. Silva passes to full mount!
Silva has isolated one of Camal's arms. Camal looking to fight him off but Silva twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Animai throws a right and a left that both miss. Vanapa Animai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weekley looking to score a takedown here. Animai is defending well but Weekley drives through and ends up in Animai's guard.
Animai is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Weekley frees his head nicely. Oh but Animai has switched to an armbar! Weekley is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Vanapa Animai! A very excited looking Vanapa Animai made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Tyson wants to clinch up but Miller keeps it at a distance. Nice sprawl there from Miller as Tyson shoots in. Miller is looking to score with low kicks. Miller blocks a head kick by Tyson.
Miller misses with a takedown attempt - Tyson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Tyson misses with the combination.
Miller throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tyson's waist but Tyson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miller off to one side. Tyson doesn't manage to clinch there - Miller circles away.
Miller misses with a takedown attempt - Tyson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Levi Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tyson avoids it really well and circles away. Miller fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Miller stuffs the takedown. Miller shoots in for a double leg but Tyson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Miller tries for a takedown but Tyson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tyson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Miller. Tyson throws a head kick that Miller semi-blocks.
Tyson connects with a right hand. Miller shakes it off.
 Miller is rocked! Tyson finds Miller's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Miller flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Tyson lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Miller will be OK.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis throws the kick towards the body but Soldati avoids it. Lewis blocks a head kick by Soldati.
Lewis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Soldati waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lewis. Soldati could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Soldati tries to clinch up
and Lewis counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Soldati has Lewis pressed against the cage, preventing Lewis from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Soldati taking a breather. Soldati throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lewis blocks it with crossed arms. Soldati jumps guard but Lewis stands there with Soldati around his waist. Soldati gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Lewis gets a trip takedown into half guard. Soldati might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Soldati is looking for a sweep. Lewis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lewis is controlling the pace.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Soldati wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lewis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
 Leroy Lewis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Soldati fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lewis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Lewis controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Lewis wants to control from the top but Soldati keeps moving.
Lewis is sitting in close to Soldati's body. Soldati has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Lewis is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Lewis is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Soldati.
