3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gervazio Silva! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Watcher sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Watcher swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Watcher manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Watcher tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Watcher. Watcher misses with a hook. Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Watcher sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat. Andy Watcher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gervazio Silva. No luck for Silva with that takedown attempt. Silva is rocked! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Silva being controlled against the cage. Watcher creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Silva is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silva is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Silva fails to pull the fight into his guard.

It looks like Gervazio Silva has been cut. Silva is breathing heavily. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Silva seems to have recovered his senses. Watcher gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Silva tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Watcher avoids it. He pushes Silva back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Watcher throws a beautiful elbow that sends Silva crashing to the floor! Watcher piles on the pressure with more strikes! Silva is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zaremba gets a clinch. Pacheco pulls guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Pacheco looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Zaremba pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pacheco is keeping the position for now. Pacheco lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Zaremba! Pacheco looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Zaremba tries to reverse the position but Pacheco maintains control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pacheco sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Pacheco wants to control the pace but Zaremba is squirming around nicely. You get the feeling that Zaremba really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Pacheco takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Pacheco throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Zaremba because Pacheco loaded up on that one. Pacheco looking to control but Zaremba is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Pacheco tries for a kimura but Zaremba is defending well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zaremba is not content to let Pacheco control the position.

Pacheco is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Zaremba tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pacheco on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Zaremba darts in trying to clinch and Pacheco counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pacheco. Zaremba controls Pacheco momentarily but Pacheco frees himself. Pacheco trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Zaremba feints a jab promting Pacheco to slip. Zaremba then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pacheco slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Zaremba misses with a series of wild punches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Zaremba throws a quick inside leg kick. Zaremba doesn't manage to clinch there - Pacheco circles away.

Zaremba feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pachecos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Zaremba defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pacheco. The fight stays on the outside here - Pacheco looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pacheco moves in looking to clinch but Zaremba pushes him off. Zaremba fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pacheco, pushing him back against the cage. Zaremba tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Pacheco avoids it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pacheco tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Zaremba smiles and moves away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Passaro misses with a two punch combination.
Passaro throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cirus pushing out the jab but it's not landing. No joy there for Passaro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cirus ducks under a wild hook from Passaro. Passaro darts in trying to clinch and Cirus counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Cirus not landing any meaningful shots this time. Passaro wants to get back to his feet. Nice strikes from Cirus there. Cirus lands with a punch from half guard. Passaro is trying to control but can't.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cirus connects with a nice short shot to Passaro's temple. Cirus is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Cirus working Passaro over with strikes. Cirus looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Passaro is rocked! Cirus is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Passaro is still in real trouble! Can Cirus finish him? Passaro taking some punishment here, with Cirus in his half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! HardOne slaps away a takedown attempt from Souza, before circling back to the center of the mat. Souza throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. HardOne tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Souza is in HardOne's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Souza can do anything to dispel that myth. Souza looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Souza had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. HardOne defends it easily. Souza has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think HardOne should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Souza has tightened it up now! HardOne should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cavanhas thuds a left hand into Wamasaki's body. Cavanhas fails with the takedown and Wamasaki counters by moving into the clinch. Wamasaki lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Wamasaki. Wamasaki lands a nice elbow. Cavanhas is fighting off a takedown attempt but Wamasaki is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Cavanhas to the mat. Cavanhas regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Wamasaki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cavanhas working a defensive guard here.
