The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Washington counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Dawn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dawn ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Washington fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Washington tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dawn was well out of range. Poor timing from Washington.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dawn takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Jake Dawn has been cut.

Washington lands a left and a right that send Dawn crashing to the mat, dazed. Washington thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Washington cracks Dawn with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dawn looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Washington finish him?
Dawn seems to have got his legs back now.
Washington throws a series of punches but Dawn avoids them all with ease.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cassidy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Animai looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Animai is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Animai is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Animai looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Animai has his foot on Cassidy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cassidy works his way back into a safe position though.

Animai is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cassidy is aware though and is defending well.

Animai is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cassidy defends well.
Cassidy wants to stand but Animai is controlling his posture from full guard.
Cassidy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Cassidy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Animai manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Animai is looking to sinch up a triangle. Cassidy throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Animai's body to avoid the submission. Animai has instead reached around Cassidy's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Animai arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Favano tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Scott paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Favano throws a nice looking combination but Scott bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Favano will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Scott shoots in looking for a takedown. Favano tries to sprawl out of it but Scott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Favano manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Scott is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Favano.

Favano looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Favano lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Scott at a distance.

Favano connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Scott throws a wild hook but Favano just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Scott gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Favano raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

After the fight, Nick Favano was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dog, as that shot connected.
Dravinski tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Dog counters with a right hand to the body.
Dravinski slips a straight right by Dog.
Dravinski slips a jab and a cross from Dog.
Dravinski avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dravinski shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Dravinski has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dog finds it's way round the side to connect with Dravinski's head.
Donk. Dog catches Dravinski right on the button with a cross.

Dog misses with a looping right.
Oh Dravinski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dog catches Dravinski with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Dravinski forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

Jay Dog decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
