Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Raine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cliche Clinchmaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raine kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Shinedown - Diamond Eyes. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Cliche Clinchmaster was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Raine tries to land a knee to the head but Clinchmaster blocks with his arms.
Raine avoiding damage as Clinchmaster throws knees to the body.
Raine can't get the takedown.

Raine gets control of Clinchmaster's arms and successfully pulls guard. Raine will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Clinchmaster would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Cliche Clinchmaster hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Raine fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Clinchmaster, pushing him back against the cage.
Raine lands a shoulder strike.
Clinchmaster tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Clinchmaster just misses with a elbow thrown towards Raine's brow.

Raine gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Raine has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Clinchmaster defend it? Raine steps over the head and cranks it - Clinchmaster is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Raine!

Einstein rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dudzinski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Einstein counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dudzinski gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Einstein gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Dudzinski is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Horrible takedown by Perez or perhaps it was just good defense by Arnassus which made him look bad.
Perez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Arnassus as he avoids it easily.

Perez scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Arnassus controlling the position well.
Perez trying to mount his opponent but Arnassus defends it.
Arnassus trying to control but Perez postures up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Perez lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perez slips a nice elbow through Arnassus's hands, connecting with Arnassus's forehead.
Perez throwing shots but Arnassus is blocking nicely.
Perez thows a huge punch but Arnassus dodges it nicely.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Perez connects with a nice short shot to Arnassus's temple.
Perez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Arnassus with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Perez lands a nice short elbow.
Perez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Perez lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Perez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Arnassus with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Perez is nestled in close to Arnassus, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Perez looks to land a strike but Arnassus avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Perez distracts Arnassus with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Arnassus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Perez on the ground.

Perez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Arnassus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Perez has managed to get both his arms back between Arnassus's legs - danger averted.
Perez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Arnassus works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Perez content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Perez postures up.
Perez stands up over Arnassus, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Arnassus has momentary wrist control but Perez slips an elbow through the middle.
Perez makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Perez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Arnassus's head.
Perez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Arnassus works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Perez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Perez postures up and lands a big shot to Arnassus's brow.
Perez working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Arnassus's head.

Perez drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Perez as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Arnassus screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Perez! Nice submission victory there!
