Zaromskis thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gomi if he has to take too many more of those.
Zaromskis throws a series of punches but Gomi avoids them all with ease.
Zaromskis is looking to clinch.

Zaromskis looks to land a body kick but Gomi moved away.
Zaromskis throws a left and a right that both miss

so Gomi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Zaromskis working for a triangle but Gomi defends it easily.

Zaromskis looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gomi trying to control but Zaromskis is working from the bottom.
Zaromskis is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell?

Gomi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Gomi tries to score with some ground and pound. Zaromskis controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The ground and pound from Gomi seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Zaromskis can't do much from the bottom here.

Gomi swings around for an armbar but Zaromskis sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gomi's guard.

Gomi looking for a sweep. Not yet Gomi, not yet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zaromskis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gomi is on top in guard.
Gomi won't allow Zaromskis to get back to his feet.
Gomi looking to sit in guard and control but Zaromskis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Zaromskis tries to free his leg and advance position but Gomi is retaining full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gomi is on top in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gomi postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Zaromskis wants to sweep but no luck.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gomi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Zaromskis is not content to let Gomi control the position.
Zaromskis dodges the ground and pound from Gomi.

Gomi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Gegard Zaromskis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Gomi sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Zaromskis is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Zaromskis gets back to half guard.
Zaromskis blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gomi.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gomi is looking to take a break and control but Zaromskis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gomi is working for a kimura but Zaromskis is defending it quite comfortably.
Zaromskis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gomi scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Gomi passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Zaromskis!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kenny Gomi showed his dominance in that final round.
