The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones walks into a straight right hand from Le.
Le misses with a two punch combination.
Le doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Jones counters with a shoot takedown. Le fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Le is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Le has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Le's legs - danger averted.
Le is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jones wants to get back to full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.

Eriksen is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Walker gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
