These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manning looks for the body kick but Butane saw that one coming. Manning thows a body kick. Butane tries to catch it but that hurt him. Manning misses with a double jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Butane keeping moving, preventing Manning from controlling successfully. Manning has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Butane to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Manning is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Butane pulls down on the head and he's put Manning to sleep! This one is all over!

It looks like Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin has been cut. Thai with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Thai jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rasputin walks away with a smile on his face. Thai gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Thai rushes Rasputin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Thai breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Muay Thai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rasputin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thai as he avoids it easily. Rasputin tries to clinch there but Thai circles away.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
