Austurias does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Austurias is looking to clinch but Gago is avoiding it.
Austurias closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gago did well to prevent Austurias getting side control.

Faure covers up and Dickens unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babcock lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Boy at a distance.

Babcock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Babcock throws a strike but Boy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Boy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Babcock is controlling him.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Babcock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Boy throws a hook to the side of Babcock's head but Babcock sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Pauly Boy seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Boy jabs Babcock right on the nose. Babcock blinks but takes it well.
Boy drops Babcock with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Babcock! Boy dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
