1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark McGene! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Gilles! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGene will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McGene throws a right hand that Gilles ducks under and follows up with a left that Gilles also avoids with ease. Gilles showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McGene.
Jab, jab by Gilles - just one landing. Gilles avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gilles connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McGene momentarily.
Gilles works McGene's body with a nice hook. McGene changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gilles tries to avoid it but McGene manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gilles to the ground. Gilles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. McGene throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gilles counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McGene shoots in for a takedown but Gilles shows good takedown defense. Gilles lands a slapping body shot.
No joy there for McGene, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McGene is breathing heavily. It's a brutal combination of punches from Gilles! McGene is backing up but he can't get away as Gilles lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops McGene and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mark Gilles! After the fight, Mark Gilles was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Datiles shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Akylbekov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Datiles showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Akylbekov is looking for a triangle but Datiles pushes his legs off easily.
Datiles stays in close to Akylbekov's body and controls the position.
Datiles avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Akylbekov can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Datiles controls the pace.
Datiles drops back looking for a leg! Akylbekov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Akylbekov manages to kick Datiles off! Datiles jumps back into Akylbekov's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Akylbekov keeping moving, preventing Datiles from controlling successfully. Datiles looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Akylbekov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Datiles gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Datiles sitting in guard here, content to control. Datiles must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Akylbekov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

 Adrian Datiles has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. No luck for Datiles with that takedown attempt. Datiles shoots in and drives through. Akylbekov sprawls well.

Datiles shoots in looking for a takedown. Akylbekov tries to sprawl out of it but Datiles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Akylbekov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tolegen Akylbekov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adrian Datiles. Akylbekov lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Akylbekov. Datiles is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Akylbekov. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Akylbekov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Akylbekov connects with a crisp jab. A lazy left from Akylbekov finds it's target. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Datiles fails with a takedown attempt.

Kennedy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Simon misses the shot to the body. Kennedy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Simon is pressing down on Kennedy's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Simon wants to stand up but Kennedy is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kennedy wants to control from the top but Simon keeps moving. Simon working a defensive guard here.

 The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jean Simon. Kennedy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jean Simon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kennedy throws a right and a left that both miss. Good exchange - Kennedy coming out on top. Simon loads up on a big right hand but Kennedy slips the punch. Simon connects with a body shot. Kennedy misses with a double jab.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Simon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

A close round but Jean Simon will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Simon feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kennedys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Simon scores with a one two! Kennedy had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Simon is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kennedy. A jab lands there for Simon. Luke Kennedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Simon with a hook. Kennedy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Simon sprawls well. Simon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kennedy gets slowly back to his feet. Kennedy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Simon trying to keep a closed guard but Kennedy is proving a slippery customer.

He's hooked one of Kennedy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kennedy's back! Simon tries to keep control of the position but Kennedy is staying busy. Kennedy tries to roll but Simon sticks to his back.

Sullivan closes the distance looking to clinch and Jamie counters with a huge left! Sullivan is in big trouble! He's backing up but Jamie isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Sullivan from any more damage. A dominating finish by Jamie!
