A fine choice. Ramirez has chosen Megadeth-Trust as his entrance music. Alex Ramirez struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Jorge chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kotipelto can pounce on him.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kotipelto enables Jorge to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kotipelto manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Jorge throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kotipelto's waist but Kotipelto gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jorge off to one side.
