Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wyjebany Marek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Al Pacino Delegratti! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delegratti tries to close the distance and clinch but Marek swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Marek drops Delegratti with a left right combo! Marek follows him down to the ground into side control.
It looks like Al Pacino Delegratti has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Marek working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. You can see the frustration on Delegratti's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Delegratti manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Delegratti seems content to control. Delegratti throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Marek is trying to stand up here but Delegratti is controlling him well. Delegratti lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Delegratti takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Delegratti seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. We're going to have a standup here because Wyjebany Marek wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Marek blocks the body kick.
Marek closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. No luck with that takedown attempt from Marek. Delegratti missing with a left hand there. Marek was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

He's got his arms around Marek's waist but Marek gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Delegratti off to one side. Delegratti scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Delegratti misses with an uppercut. Marek fails to land the takedown. Delegratti drives through with a takedown into Marek's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Marek throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

and Delegratti counters by moving into the clinch. Delegratti putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Marek in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Delegratti misses with a knee strike.

Wyjebany Marek is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nice sprawl there from Delegratti as Marek shoots in. Donk. Delegratti catches Marek right on the button with a cross. Marek fails to land with a series of punches.

Marek fails with the takedown. Delegratti misses with a looping left. Delegratti throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nice takedown defense from Marek. No joy for Delegratti on that attempt. Delegratti tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marek paws at him with a jab and circles away. Delegratti swings widly with a right hand
and Marek counters with a two punch combo. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Delegratti gets off balance looking for a body kick and Marek counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delegratti tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Marek manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Marek throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Delegratti counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Delegratti is looking to take a break and control but Marek is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Delegratti passes to full mount! Delegratti fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marek working to try and regain half guard.
Delegratti can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Marek is looking to escape. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Delegratti postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Marek looks a forlorn figure.
Delegratti is landing with some decent strikes but Marek is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Veljko swings for the body but Cannon moves out of range.

Veljko turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Veljko manages to end up in side control. Cannon is pushing Veljko's head away, looking to escape. Veljko manages to hold on to the position though. Cannon is not content to let Veljko control the position. Cannon is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Veljko throwing strikes but Cannon manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Cannon stands up. Veljko takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Veljko has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cannon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Salvador Cannon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Veljko throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
And that's the end of the fight! Sinisa Veljko showed his dominance in that final round. Well Veljko has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alonso closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Alonso works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Dominatus is looking to regain half guard here but Alonso keeps moving and retains side control. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Punchon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. No joy there for Punchon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

It looks like Jack Black has been cut. Black uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Punchon throws a series of punches but Black moves out of range. Punchon scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Black misses with a jab, cross combination.
This has been an exciting period of action! Black takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Black stuffs the takedown attempt from Punchon. Punchon gets slowly back to his feet. Black leaves Punchon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Punchon slips a jab from Black. Punchon ducks under a wild hook from Black. Punchon misses with a two punch combination.
Black closes the distance and clinches up with Punchon, looking for a takedown. Black pushes Punchon against the cage but Punchon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Black looks to throw the jab but Punchon is out of range. Black drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Punchon wants to stand but Black is controlling the position. Black postures up in Punchon's guard and throws a big left but Punchon blocks it.

Black is looking to work some ground and pound but Punchon has wrist control. Black throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Punchon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Punchon tries to get out of the position. Black landing with the ground and pound. Punchon keeping moving, preventing Black from controlling successfully. Black trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Punchon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Black connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Punchon some visible discomfort.

The referee takes a look at Punchon to see if he's OK. Black in side control lands a decent elbow. Black has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wooooo!
