1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Clay! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clay closes the distance and clinches up with Sagorro, looking for a takedown. Clay pushes Sagorro against the cage but Sagorro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Clay shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sagorro sprawls well. Sagorro wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Clay gets slowly back to his feet. Sagorro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Clay manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sagorro instigates a clinch. Clay is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Fanicas Sagorro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Clay. Clay managing to block the knees to the body from Sagorro.
Sagorro gets control of Clay's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sagorro will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Clay is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clay tries to free his leg and advance position but Sagorro is retaining full guard. Clay trying to control but Sagorro is working from the bottom. Clay must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Clay pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. They are putting on a show! Clay wants to pass to mount but Sagorro is defending the position. Clay is looking to take a break and control but Sagorro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Alex Clay. Clay slaps away a takedown attempt from Sagorro, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Clay is looking to sweep but instead, Sagorro has passed into half guard.

Sagorro gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Clay to score an easy takedown into full guard. Clay trying to control the position from guard on top but Sagorro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sagorro utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sagorro is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Clay won't allow Sagorro to sweep him here. Clay trying to control but Sagorro is working from the bottom. Clay looking to improve position, pressing down on Sagorro's thigh with his hand. Sagorro seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Clay paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Clay's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Sagorro picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Anda throws a sloppy head kick and Webster moves out of range easily. Lazano De Anda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De Anda moves to clinch but Webster breaks away and Webster counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. De Anda keeping full guard, as Webster tries to pass. Webster decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on De Anda, up you get! Webster misses with a takedown attempt - De Anda sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. De Anda throws a low kick but Webster moves out of range easily. De Anda wants to clinch and Webster counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

A telegraphed right hand from Snack Cakes misses the target. Snack Cakes connects with a good right hand that stumbles Van. Van circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Van swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Van misses with a right hand and Snack Cakes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Van throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Snack Cakes sees it coming and avoids it easily. Snack Cakes connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Van's hands. Van doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Van. Snack Cakes does a little dance to reset his feet. Snack Cakes ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Snack Cakes cracks Van with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Van takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Van is rocked! Snack Cakes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Van circles away quickly and effectively. Van is still on wobbly legs! Can Snack Cakes finish him? Snack Cakes lands with a cross. Snack Cakes jabs Van to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Van is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Snack Cakes moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Debby Snack Cakes! Debby Snack Cakes seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

And that's the end of the fight! Le Chung showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chung, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
