The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Costas looks to score with a jab to the body but Tyrmaaja is just out of range. Tyrmaaja has taken the fight to the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Tyrmaaja. Costas is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tyrmaaja is defending well for now. Tyrmaaja lands with a right to the head. A body shot lands from Tyrmaaja.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bennie Wilson! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wilson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Clayton tried to score with a low kick but Wilson checks it. A nice leg kick lands there from Clayton. Clayton connects with a high kick. Wilson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Clayton manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wilson on his heels. He'll look to pass Wilson's guard now, I'm sure. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Clayton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wilson wants to sweep here but Clayton controlling him for the moment. Clayton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Clayton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wilson is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clayton content to stall in guard here. Clayton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Clayton is looking to stand up but Wilson won't let him. Wilson looking for a sweep. Not yet Wilson, not yet. Wilson wants to stand but Clayton is controlling the position. Wilson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wilson missing with a left hand there. Clayton was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Clayton counters with a right hand to the body. Clayton throws a body punch but Wilson moves out of range. Clayton takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Clayton has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Clayton there as he acknowledges the shot. Clayton lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wilson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Clayton's hands. Wilson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Clayton at a distance.

Bennie Wilson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wilson throws an overhand right that lands on Clayton's shoulder, as Clayton tries to avoid the shot. Wilson is rocked! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Clayton fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wilson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Wilson is still on wobbly legs! Can Clayton finish him? Wilson looks winded! Wilson ducks into an uppercut from Clayton and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

Well Andrianampoinimerina has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hooker is trying to defend but Hill finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Hooker works his way to full guard. Good work. Hill stopping the sweep attempt from Hooker. Hooker is adopting a defensive guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hill wants to pass the guard but Hooker is keeping the position. Hill is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hill trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Hooker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Alf Hooker is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hill loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Shibasaki trying to control the position from guard on top but Bird is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shibasaki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Makoto Shibasaki is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Shibasaki closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bird's guard. Shibasaki wants to control from the top but Bird keeps moving. Shibasaki is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diggler connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Smack's hands. Smack bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Diggler's head backwards. Smack displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Diggler throws out the jab. Diggler misses with a straight right. Diggler throws a hook to the side of Smack's head but Smack sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Diggler on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Dirk Diggler has been cut. Diggler lands a nice hook to Smack's body. Smack takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Smack throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Smack loads up on a big right hand but Diggler slips the punch. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Smack cracks Diggler with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Diggler looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Smack finish him?

Smack throws out a leg kick but Diggler moves out of range and Smack only half commits. Diggler wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Diggler throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Smack sees it coming and avoids it easily. Diggler misses with a wild body shot. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Smack throws a big shot that misses. Smack takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Smack throws a jab when Diggler was well out of range. Diggler takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Smack lands with a hook. Diggler tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Diggler bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Smack's head. Smack sends Diggler crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Smack is motioning to the referee to let Diggler up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! This has been an exciting period of action! Smack misses with a left hand and Diggler counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Smack throws a hook to the side of Diggler's head but Diggler sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Smack! Diggler is out on his feet! Smack rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Diggler is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Diggler is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Pasi Nurminen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nurminen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. The fight moves into the clinch position. Dew breaks from the clinch.
Nurminen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dew to the mat! Dew manages to get full guard. Nurminen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dew swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dew is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dew keeping moving, preventing Nurminen from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dew is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nurminen is controlling him. Nurminen passes easily into side control. Nice work. Dew pushes Nurminen away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Nurminen gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jameson cracks the inside of King's front leg. Jameson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on King. That did some damage! King throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jameson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jameson throws a hook to the side of King's head but King sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts King, as that shot connected.
King is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jameson looks to score with a jab to the body but King is just out of range. Jameson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. King looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jameson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jameson scores with a decent looking hook. Jameson scores with the left hand. King knows he should have avoided that one. Jameson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from King.
Jameson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed King momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jameson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Jameson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from King. Jameson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between King's hands. Jameson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by King.
King is rocked! BOOM! Jameson lands a beautiful left hook that drops King. King tries to recover but Jameson is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and King lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
