The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bader is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lannister misses with a double jab
and Bader connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lannister scores with a hook to the body. Bader takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Lannister misses with a left hand and Bader counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bader ducks under a wild hook from Lannister. Bader fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bader gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lannister cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sloppy strikes from Lannister. Those never looked like landing. Lannister stuffs the takedown. Bader fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jamie Lannister has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Bader. Bader takes one on the button. A punch combination from Lannister misses. Bader fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lannister avoids it really well and circles away. Bader slips under a jab. Lannister fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Bader fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Lannister blocks a low kick nicely. Sloppy strikes from Lannister. Those never looked like landing. Lannister fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Lannister throws a hook to the side of Bader's head but Bader sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lannister misses with a wild body shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lannister misses with the combination.

and Bader counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lannister thinking. Jamie Lannister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fighters circling - Lannister throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bader staying out of range there. Bader tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lannister swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bader tries for a takedown but Lannister sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lannister takes a swing at Bader's ribcage but misses. Jamie Lannister is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bader with a body punch. A glancing blow. Bader throws a chopping leg kick but Lannister manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Bader tries for a takedown but Lannister circles away easily and Lannister counters with a stiff right hand. Bader is looking to clinch. Lannister goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Lannister cracks Bader with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Lannister circles away from the clinch attempt and Lannister counters with a two punch combo. Bader throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lannister's waist but Lannister gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bader off to one side. Lannister avoids the head kick by Bader.

Lannister rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bader moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Horrible takedown by Bader or perhaps it was just good defense by Lannister which made him look bad. Lannister takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lannister tries to keep at a distance but Bader has taken the fight into the clinch. Bader is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Jamie Lannister has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Bader. Bader is breathing heavily. Lannister taking a breather. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lannister working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Bader is trying to control but can't.

Lannister looking very determined here, making life difficult for Bader.

Lannister ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Bader is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lannister is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Bader. Bader throws out a loose jab but Lannister uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lannister cracks a nice hook into Bader's ribs. Lannister dips to his left and cracks Bader with an uppercut! A head kick misses from Bader. Lannister lands a two punch combo.
Lannister displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bader. Lannister throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bader fails to land the takedown. Bader on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lannister jabs Bader to the body, keeping him at a distance. Ryan Bader has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jamie Lannister is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lannister with a jab.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sagoth gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Boyka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sagoth pushes Boyka up against the cage in a clinch. Sagoth breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Excellent takedown into side control there by Sagoth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sagoth wants to lay and pray for a moment but Boyka keeps working. Sagoth looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Sagoth working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuri Boyka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sagoth gets a clinch. Boyka's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Boyka tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sagoth smiles and moves away.

and Boyka decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sagoth's guard. Boyka controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Boyka is sitting in close to Sagoth's body. Sagoth has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Boyka is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Boyka is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Sagoth.

After the fight, John Sagoth was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Bullet is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Slugger flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Slugger is out cold! Bullet holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bayolens stuffs the takedown attempt from Smith. Smith gets slowly back to his feet. Smith dodges the punch combination from Bayolens.
Smith slips under a jab from Bayolens. Bayolens takes a swing at Smith's ribcage but misses. Smith throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bayolens tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Smith is in Bayolens's guard. Bayolens wants to stand and escape but Smith is having none of it. Bayolens looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smith is one step ahead there. Smith prevents Bayolens from getting back to his feet. Smith working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bayolens looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Smith is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bayolens is looking for a triangle but Smith pushes his legs off easily.

Smith makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Smith drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bayolens manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Smith has Bayolens in his guard. Smith pushes a forearm under Bayolens's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bayolens is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Darius Smith! Darius Smith really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Untouchable Fight Gear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
