The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karwski throws a half hearted mid kick. Rayne misses with a leg kick enabling Karwski to counter with a crisp jab. Rayne tries to close the distance and clinch up but Karwski swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rayne showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Karwski.

Nice jab there from Karwski. Karwski throws a half hearted mid kick. Rayne misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rayne ducks right into an uppercut from Karwski. Karwski misses with a series of wild punches.

Karwski moves away and avoids it. A decent looking body kick lands there for Karwski. Karwski ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Rayne checks a leg kick. Karwski lands with a shot to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Karwski throws a solid leg kick but Rayne takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Karwski. Karwski misses with a double jab.

Rayne is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Karwski is controlling him.

Karwski is posturing up here but Rayne has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Karwski tries to roll out but it's too tight and Karwski has to tap! Slick submission there by Rayne!

It looks like Haymitch Abernathy has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ross gets a clinch. Ross scores with a nice hook to the head. A head punch on the inside from Abernathy fails to land. Ross digs a right hand underneath Abernathy's ribcage. Abernathy let out a lung full of air as it connected. Abernathy is breathing heavily. Ross breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Abernathy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ross. Abernathy is looking to clinch. Abernathy misses with a low kick. Ross swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ross moves into the clinch successfully.
Ross scores with a shot to the side of Abernathy's head. A short right from Ross on the inside. Ross displaying some good clinch control by pressing Abernathy up against the cage. Abernathy throws an elbow but it misses.

Ross effectively controlling the action here. Ross drops Abernathy onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Abernathy is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ross working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Boma stalks Chernova and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chernova's face. Chernova staggers backwards, shaken. No luck with that takedown attempt from Chernova. Boma lands a jab to Chernova's midsection. Boma shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Chernova eats them both and turns towards Boma to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Boma scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Boma has eaten all the pies! This has been an exciting period of action! Chernova tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Boma manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Chernova shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boma but Boma pushes him off and we're back to square one. Boma fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Chernova on the side of the head. Chernova looks to clinch letting Boma counter with a right hand. Boma lands with an overhand left. Good shot there by Boma. Chernova wants to clinch and Boma counters with a nice uppercut. A left and a right from Boma both land. Nice combination. Boma keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boma lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Boma. Boma is working the combinations to good effect here. Chernova tries to move into range but Boma moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Chernova is rocked! Boma knocks out Chernova with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Boma before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Boma picks up the big W with a huge KO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith feints and as The Thai Zombie raises his hands in defense, Smith changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Smith looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smith sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed The Thai Zombie 's guard. Smith looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Smith is just content to waste time from the top position. The Thai Zombie takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. The Thai Zombie keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as White checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. White connects with a solid leg kick. White on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Johnny. Johnny obviously looking to wear him down.
White swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnny. White goes for a high kick. It partially lands. White's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and White duly obliges. White looks for the body kick but Johnny saw that one coming. White blocks a low kick nicely. Johnny throws out a loose jab but White uses good head movement to avoid it. Johnny swings for the body but White moves out of range.
White stalks Johnny and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Johnny's face. Johnny staggers backwards, shaken. Johnny swings widly with a right hand
and White counters with a left and a right that stings Johnny. Johnny looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Johnny crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from White - the referee stops the clock and Johnny gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says White. Johnny manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Some wild striking there from White.

White blocks a head kick by Johnny.

Johnny seems to have got his legs back now. White getting the better of the striking in that exchange. White throws a left that rocks Johnny and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! White dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Johnny regain composure!

Johnny moves in looking to clinch but White pushes him off. White blocks a jab. Johnny doesn't manage to clinch there - White circles away.

After the fight, Power Ranger White was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
