The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buiser is looking to clinch but Naga is avoiding it.
Buiser shoots in looking for a takedown. Naga tries to sprawl out of it but Buiser keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Naga manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Naga wants to clinch up but Buiser keeps it at a distance. Buiser shoots in looking for a takedown but Naga manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buiser's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Naga shoots in for a takedown but Buiser shows good takedown defense. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Naga is defended easily by Buiser. Buiser stuffs the takedown attempt from Naga. Naga gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boca Naga. That's going to take a lot out of him. Naga shoots in but no luck this time. Buiser shoots in for a takedown but Naga shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Buiser tries for a takedown but Naga circles away easily and Naga decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Buiser's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buiser can't keep his opponent in guard - Naga advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Buiser wants to get back to full guard. Buiser won't allow Naga to pass to mount. Naga prevents Buiser from standing back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Naga connects with a nice short shot to Buiser's temple. Buiser wants to get back to his feet.
Naga looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill blocks a head kick by Ramirez.
Ramirez throws a head kick but Hill moves out of range.
Ramirez moves in looking to clinch but Hill pushes him off. Hill circles away from the clinch attempt and Hill counters with a nice double leg into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hill drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Hill as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Ramirez screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Hill! Nice submission victory there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mann's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Killer connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mann scrambles back to his feet. Mann misses with a body shot
and Killer counters with an outside leg kick.
Killer is looking to slow Mann down with leg kicks. Mann misses with a lunging right hand
and Killer counters with a lovely shot to the body. Killer misses the shot to the body. Mann ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Killer moves away. Killer throws a nice outside leg kick. Good standup being displayed there by Killer as he connects with a hook. Killer chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Killer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mann.
Nice cross by Killer. Mann looking for a takedown here - he's got it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mann tries to free his leg and advance position but Killer is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mann accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mann trying to control but Killer is working from the bottom. Mann trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Killer wants to sweep here but Mann controlling him for the moment. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Killer can do anything to dispel that myth. Mann's corner is telling him to maintain position. Mann advances position into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mann goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Killer has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mann but great work by Killer. Mann is trying to control Killer's posture but Killer avoids it. Killer wants to stand but Mann is controlling his arm. Mann tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Killer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Killer decides to stand back up. Killer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Killer misses with a wild body shot. Mann fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Killer manages to avoid it. Killer wants to land a leg kick but Mann is out of range. Mann misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Killer.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mann checks a leg kick. Mann misses with an uppercut
and Killer counters with a lovely straight right hand! Mann moves out of range of the leg kick from Killer. Killer is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Killer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Killer throws a leg kick that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mann drives through with a takedown into Killer's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Mann looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Mann might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mann trying to control the position from guard on top but Killer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mann drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Mann seems to have locked his on tight now - Killer screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Mann, as he picks up the win!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Costa gets tackled into the cage by Brunner. Brunner maintains the clinch. Costa is trying to stall.
Brunner has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Costa uses from the top position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Brunner wants to sweep but no luck. Costa is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brunner is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brunner has escaped and now he's on top! Costa trying to control the position here. Brunner thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Brunner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Costa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brunner has managed to get both his arms back between Costa's legs - danger averted. Brunner loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Costa working for a triangle but Brunner defends it easily.

Brunner trying to control but Costa is working from the bottom. Costa has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Brunner is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Costa. Brunner tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Costa manages to work his way to half guard, despite Brunner's best efforts. Brunner is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Costa! Brunner looking to control but Costa is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Costa is looking to get to half guard. Brunner is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Costa is surviving well by controlling Brunner's body position as best he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brunner throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Costa has his hands clasped together but Brunner breaks the hold and Costa is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Brunner!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Surtr feints and then cracks Limmen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Limmen down. Limmen lands a jab to Surtr's midsection. Limmen checks the leg kick nicely there.

Surtr connects with a leg kick. Limmen looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Surtr lands a right hook to the body.

Limmen loads up on a big right hand but Surtr slips the punch. Surtr shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Limmen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Limmen on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Surtr throws a leg kick but Limmen sees it coming and checks it nicely. That kick from Surtr tenderised Limmen's leg. Limmen is trying to keep his angry face on. Surtr slips a jab from Limmen. Limmen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Surtr moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Surtr looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Limmen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Surtr defends it nicely. Surtr lands with a thumping leg kick.

Limmen blocks a head kick by Surtr.

It connects and Limmen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Limmen connects with the punch. Surtr scoring well with a low kick there.

Limmen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Limmen wants to land a leg kick but Surtr is out of range. Limmen tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Surtr avoids the body shot from Limmen.

Argo Surtr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Surtr fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Surtr throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Surtr scores with a slapping inside leg kick. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Limmen throws out a leg kick but Surtr moves out of range and Limmen only half commits. Surtr is looking to wear down Limmen with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Surtr checks a low kick from Limmen. Limmen thows a body shot but no joy. Steve Limmen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Surtr lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Berry tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it. Berry is looking to clinch. Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Berry wants to clinch and Jones counters with a nice kick to the body. Berry misses with a hook. Jones ducked under it nicely. Berry rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Fred Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Ming Chang takes a swing at Sox's ribcage but misses. Sox cracks Ming Chang with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ming Chang tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sox pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ming Chang is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
