The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cosgrove lands with a good body shot. Michaels with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cosgrove to score with a decent uppercut. Michaels fails to land with a series of punches.

and Cosgrove counters with a straight right hand. Shane Cosgrove seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Michaels with poor footwork there. Cosgrove lands with a nice body punch. Cosgrove bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Michaels's head backwards. Michaels moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Michaels tries to clinch but Cosgrove moves away and Cosgrove makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Michaels on the wrong end of a nice jab. Cosgrove lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Michaels checks a leg kick. Michaels misses with a few strikes there.
Cosgrove scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Michaels is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Michaels checks a leg kick. Michaels doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Cosgrove wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Cosgrove throws a front kick aimed at Michaels's knee but Michaels avoids it well. Cosgrove fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Cosgrove tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Cosgrove has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Cosgrove lands a slapping body shot.

Michaels is rocked! Good exchange - Cosgrove coming out on top. Oh Michaels is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cosgrove lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Michaels falls backwards - clearly groggy! Cosgrove dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mendes is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nelson's half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Mendes is trying to control. Nelson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Mendes is working for a submission of some sort.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Nelson is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Nelson gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Nelson gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Nelson apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Nelson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Mendes looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Nelson passes into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mendes taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mendes is looking for a sweep. Nelson decides to stand back up. Mendes closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Nelson quickly recovers to half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters are battling for position here. Nelson manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Mendes wants to control from the top but Nelson keeps moving. Mendes is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nelson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nelson has escaped and now he's on top! Nelson landing with the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nelson controlling from the top position. Mendes has his foot on Nelson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nelson works his way back into a safe position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nelson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mendes is just riding it out for now. Nelson eventually gives up the hold. Nelson is taking a breather. Mendes says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Nelson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Mendes gets back to full guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Douglas fails with the takedown and Brady counters with a shoot takedown. Douglas fights it but they end up in guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Douglas looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brady is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Brady trying to control but Douglas is working from the bottom. Douglas manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Papadopoulos is looking to land body kicks. Papadopoulos ducks under a wild hook from Raiden. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Papadopoulos.

Raiden scores with a nice head shot. Papadopoulos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Raiden moves away. Raiden connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Papadopoulos plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Raiden throws a hook but Papadopoulos avoids it easily. Papadopoulos walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Raiden dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Papadopoulos tries to clinch up and Raiden counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Papadopoulos moves in looking to clinch but Raiden pushes him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Raiden keeps the fight on the outside. Papadopoulos takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Raiden keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Raiden with a body punch. A glancing blow. Papadopoulos throws a leg kick that misses. Raiden tests Papadopoulos's chin there with a solid looking shot. Raiden thows a body shot but no joy. Papadopoulos scores with a leg kick.

Papadopoulos takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Raiden throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Papadopoulos stumbling backwards into the cage! Papadopoulos bounces back off the cage towards Raiden, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Raiden lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Raiden celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Skulec has eaten all the pies! A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Skulec blocks an elbow strike from Weyzen.
Weyzen is looking to control Skulec's arms but Skulec gets an underhook and turns him. Now Weyzen has his back to the cage. Skulec jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Weyzen walks away with a smile on his face. Skulec gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Weyzen scores with the left hand. Skulec knows he should have avoided that one. Skulec takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Jakub Skulec seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Skulec tries to close the distance and clinch up but Weyzen swats him away and circles back towards the center. Skulec tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Weyzen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Skulec tries to clinch but Weyzen is having none of it. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Machida throws a series of punches but Evil avoids them all with ease. Machida moves out of range as Evil throws a body kick.
