Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christian Igali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franz Beckenbauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Igali comes to the cage accompanied by Firestarter - The Prodigy. Beckenbauer has chosen Apaga mas não bate as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Beckenbauer instigates a clinch. Igali looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Beckenbauer goes for a takedown attempt but Igali pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Igali misses with a series of wild punches.
Beckenbauer dodges the punch combination from Igali.
Igali throws a head kick that misses. Igali misses with an uppercut. Beckenbauer saw that one coming. Igali throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Beckenbauer.
Beckenbauer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Beckenbauer drops back, looking for a kneebar! Igali looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Igali looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Igali! Beckenbauer gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Igali lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Igali looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Igali throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Beckenbauer has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Igali should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Beckenbauer has tightened it up now! Igali should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Franz Beckenbauer! Franz Beckenbauer very nearly forgot to thank Bushido Clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.

Hornblower throws a right hand that Morgan ducks under and follows up with a left that Morgan also avoids with ease. Morgan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hornblower manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Morgan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Morgan throws a leg kick but Hornblower sees it coming and moves out of range.
Hornblower looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Well, if Hornblower is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Hornblower throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hornblower thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Morgan's head. Hornblower throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hornblower content to control rather than advance.
Hornblower is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Morgan defends it well.

Hornblower trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hornblower wants to control from the top but Morgan keeps moving. Morgan tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Morgan trying to pass the guard but Hornblower defending well. Hornblower has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Morgan is trying to control the action in half guard but Hornblower is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Morgan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hornblower is looking to improve his position.

Morgan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Morgan landing some decent shots from guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hornblower avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hornblower keeping moving, preventing Morgan from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nathanial Hornblower will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Morgan tries to clinch up. Morgan avoids the head kick by Hornblower.
Nathanial Hornblower is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Morgan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Hornblower lands with a nice combination. Morgan backs away looking to recover. Morgan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hornblower.
Hornblower tries to bum rush Morgan with a series of wild strikes but Morgan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hornblower moves into the clinch. Hornblower blocks a body shot from Morgan. Hornblower can't get the takedown.
Morgan tries to stall but Hornblower uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hornblower wants the takedown. Morgan is fighting it off but Hornblower persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Morgan's guard against the cage. Hornblower controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hornblower might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Hornblower looking to pass the guard. Hornblower trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hornblower with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morgan controls Hornblower momentarily but Hornblower frees himself. Hornblower landing with the ground and pound.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hornblower is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Morgan pulls his head out easily. Hornblower has a hand on Morgan's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Morgan takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathanial Hornblower dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Morgan throws a head kick that Hornblower semi-blocks.
Morgan clinches up against the cage. Hornblower fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Morgan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nice jab there from Morgan. Hornblower fails with a takedown attempt. Hornblower looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. An inside leg kick lands from Morgan. Morgan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hornblower looks to land a left hand but Morgan moved out of range nicely. Hornblower shoots in and drives through. Morgan sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathanial Hornblower. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morgan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Morgan lands with a good body shot. Morgan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Morgan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hornblower. That did some damage! Morgan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hornblower's calf. Morgan tries to clinch up but Hornblower circles away and keeps his distance. A bone on bone clash there as Hornblower blocks the leg kick.
Morgan misses with a body kick. Morgan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Morgan moves in looking to clinch but Hornblower pushes him off. Hornblower fails with the takedown. Morgan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hornblower throws out the jab. David Morgan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Morgan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hornblower.
Hornblower is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hornblower is looking for a takedown. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A knee to the head by Morgan.
And that's the end of the fight! David Morgan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hornblower has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Bratts takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Mancine swings widly with a right hand
and Bratts counters with a left to the body. Bratts takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Mancine shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bratts but Bratts pushes him off and we're back to square one. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bratts is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mancine enables Bratts to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mancine manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Mancine bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bratts's guard. Mancine trying to control but Bratts is working from the bottom. Mancine is pushing down on Bratts's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bratts is fighting to maintain full guard but Mancine has managed to sneak the leg through.
Bratts kicks off Mancine and gets to his feet. Mancine throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bratts. A big right from Mancine misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mancine slaps away a takedown attempt from Bratts, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ray Mancine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Bratts. Bratts misses with a low kick. Bratts fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Horrible takedown by Bratts or perhaps it was just good defense by Mancine which made him look bad. Mancine throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bratts throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bratts tries to close the distance and clinch but Mancine swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A slow jab from Bratts misses its intended target. Mancine scores with the left hand. Bratts knows he should have avoided that one. Jab by Mancine. Bratts has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mancine. Bratts fails with a takedown attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mancine moves out of range of the body kick from Bratts.

Bratts lands with an uppercut that bounces Mancine off the cage and back into range.
Bratts clinches. Bratts makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Mancine pushes Bratts back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bratts lands a nice knee to the body. Mancine lands a left hand.
Bratts lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bratts manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Bratts dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ray Mancine's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Mancine cracks the inside of Bratts's front leg. Bratts fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bratts moves out of range of the leg kick from Mancine. Bratts walks into a left hand. Jack Bratts is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bratts closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Bratts circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mancine will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bratts has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bratts content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Mancine wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bratts goes for a takedown attempt but Mancine pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Bratts shoots for a double leg takedown but Mancine sprawls well. He's pushed Bratts's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mancine scores with a hook. Mancine misses with a hook. Bratts connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Bratts comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Bratts uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mancine. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A leg kick checked by Mancine. Mancine circles away from the clinch attempt.

Mancine connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Ray Mancine is winning the standup battle so far. Bratts tries to grapple but his opponent circles and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Mancine throws a leg kick and Bratts makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. A head kick from Skyshriek lands but Black takes it in his stride. Black fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Skyshriek manages to avoid it. Black takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Skyshriek lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Skyshriek fakes the leg kick and cracks Black in the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Black throws out a loose jab but Skyshriek uses good head movement to avoid it. Skyshriek swinging wildly here.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mr Black dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Skyshriek dives in and grabs Black's left leg, looking for a takedown. Black pushes down on Skyshriek's head and hops out. Black lands an overhand right. Skyshriek blocks a jab. Black lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Skyshriek counters with a right hand to the body. Skyshriek displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Black throws out the jab. Skyshriek scores with a jab to the jaw. Black throws a hook but Skyshriek blocks it. Skyshriek avoids the body shot from Black.
A looping hook to the body misses from Black. Skyshriek does a little dance to reset his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Black is defended easily by Skyshriek.

Skyshriek tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Black manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Skyshriek uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Black.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Skyshriek throws a nice outside leg kick. Black tried to score with a low kick but Skyshriek checks it. Black throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Black fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Skyshriek avoids it really well and circles away. The fight stays on the outside here - Skyshriek looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mr Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Black staying out of range there. Black throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zack Skyshriek. I think Skyshriek has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jones feints and then cracks Schmitt's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Schmitt down. Some bone on bone action there as Schmitt checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Schmitt misses with a shot to the body and Jones counters with a nice leg kick.
