4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Baggins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ata Mamedov! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baggins clinches up with Mamedov and pushes him back against the cage. Mamedov drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Baggins pushes off an throws an elbow but Mamedov leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Baggins creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Baggins lands an elbow that stopped Mamedov in his tracks for a moment. A nice glancing elbow lands by Baggins. Mamedov has Baggins pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Baggins manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Baggins lands with a short shot to the head. Mamedov is trying to drag Baggins to the mat but Baggins just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Chuck Baggins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ata Mamedov. Mamedov takes an elbow to the forehead. Mamedov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Baggins swings wildly with an uppercut but Mamedov uses good head movement to avoid it. Baggins comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Baggins lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baggins throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mamedovs head. Mamedov blocking some punches.
Mamedov is trying to drag Baggins to the mat but Baggins just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Mamedov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Baggins pulls him back up using the underhooks. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Baggins. Baggins stops a takedown attempt from Mamedov.
Mamedov manages to break the clinch.
Mamedov shoots and misses and Baggins counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Baggins. Mamedov takes an elbow to the forehead.
Mamedov is rocked! Baggins working aggressively here.
Baggins tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Baggins creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Mamedov! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Baggins.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiro Nohara! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Byrd ducks under a wild hook from Nohara. Nohara dips to his left and cracks Byrd with an uppercut! Nohara throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nohara cracks Byrd with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Byrd is rocked! Byrd is looking to clinch but Nohara is avoiding it.
Byrd ducks under a wild hook from Nohara. Byrd takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. No luck for Byrd with that takedown attempt. Nohara throws the left hand but Byrd avoids the punch easily. Byrd shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nohara defends it nicely. Nohara just misses with a punch to the body.
Byrd ducks right into an uppercut from Nohara. Byrd darts in trying to clinch and Nohara holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Byrd tries to pull guard but Nohara forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Byrd. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nohara turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Nohara grinds an elbow into Byrd's temple. Byrd manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Nohara preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Byrd wants to control but Nohara is keeping him busy. Nohara keeping hold of Byrd's head, controlling as best he can.

Hiro Nohara has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Nohara moves into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nohara tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Byrd's elbow. Nohara ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nohara no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Byrd trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nohara manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Byrd manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Byrd throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Nohara escapes and throws Byrd's legs to the side, diving into side control! Nohara scores with punches from side control. Byrd is trying to control Nohara's posture but Nohara avoids it. Nohara remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Byrd takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Byrd is letting Nohara control him for a moment. Byrd tries to strike from the bottom but misses.

Byrd tries for a takedown but Nohara sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The fighters circling - Nohara throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nohara gets a clinch. Hiro Nohara seems to be getting the better of the standup. Byrd misses with a takedown attempt - Nohara sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nohara throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Nohara has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A telegraphed right hand from Nohara misses the target. Nohara rushes Byrd and presses him up against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice body punch from Nohara - that landed with a thud.

Hiro Nohara has got the better of the ground game so far. Nohara is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Byrd is trying to escape and Nohara transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Byrd is forced to tap! Nice work there by Nohara! Very nice indeed!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leak rushes Shea and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Leak breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Shea lands a lovely overhand right. Shea takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Shea tries a head kick but it misses.

Leak throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Shea on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Leak lands on the inside with an uppercut. Shea is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Leak's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. The crowd are loving this. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Leak, as that shot connected.

It looks like Ramazan Temel has been cut. Abbott shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Temel as he avoids it easily. Abbott scores with a head kick.

Syn has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Poffo shoots for a takedown but Syn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Poffo throws out a loose jab but Syn uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by Poffo there. Poffo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Syn was covering up waiting for the punch and Poffo finishes the takedown easily into guard. Syn is trying to keep Poffo in close.

More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Poffo can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boris shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rice is looking for a triangle but Boris pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Boris drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boris jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Boris trying to control but Rice is working from the bottom. Rice is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Boris defends well. Rice looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Boris trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Boris with a flurry of punches that miss. Boris wants to control from the top but Rice keeps moving. Boris slips nicely into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rice is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boris pulls his head out easily. Rice is pressing down on Boris's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rice is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Boris is aware though and is defending well. Boris pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rice is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boris wants to control from the top but Rice keeps moving. Boris thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rice looking for a guillotine here but Boris defends easily.
Boris has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rice is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boris gets to his feet. Rice looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Rice changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boris tries to avoid it but Rice manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boris to the ground. Boris escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Boris shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Boris quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Boris but it's paid off an Rice is forced to tap! Nice work by Boris.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roman on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Anastasia defending well as Roman loads up on a big left hand. Anastasia pivots, looking for a leg kick but Roman is out of range and Anastasia settles back down. Nice shot lands for Anastasia. Roman moves out of range as Anastasia strikes. Roman misses with a two punch combination.
Roman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Anastasia avoids it really well and circles away. Anastasia drives through with a takedown into Roman's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Anastasia throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Roman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Roman looking to control.
Roman pulls Anastasia in close to prevent any damage. Anastasia working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Anastasia wants to control from the top but Roman keeps moving. Anastasia controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Roman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anastasia on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Roman misses with a hook
and Anastasia counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Roman takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Anastasia paws at him with a jab and circles away. Anastasia waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Roman. Roman swinging wildly here.
Anastasia connects with a crisp jab. Roman looks to throw the jab but Anastasia is out of range. Roman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Anastasia swats him away and circles back towards the center. Roman fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anastasia uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Roman. Anastasia scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Roman doesn't seem bothered though. Anastasia ducks under a wild hook from Roman. Roman takes one to the chin there. Roman takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Roman loads up on a big right hand but Anastasia slips the punch. Roman throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Anastasia to counter with a crisp jab. Anastasia thuds his right hand into Roman's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anastasia missing with a left hand there. Roman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Anastasia lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Anastasia scores with a nice head shot. Anastasia loads up on a big right hand but Roman slips the punch. Roman throws a jab but it's blocked by Anastasia. Roman throws the left hand but Anastasia avoids the punch easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anastasia cracks Roman with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Roman is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anastasia misses with a looping right. A nice leg kick lands there from Roman. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Roman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Anastasia shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Roman is on queer street and Anastasia is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fu throws a low kick but Putnam moves out of range easily. Wu Tang Fu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fu tries to score with a low kick but Putnam moves his leg out of the way. Putnam doesn't manage to clinch there - Fu circles away.
Putnam is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fu is looking to slow Putnam down with leg kicks. Fu throws a head kick but Putnam moves out of range.
Putnam checks the leg kick. Nice sprawl there from Fu as Putnam shoots in. Putnam tries to clinch but Fu is having none of it. Putnam attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Fu thows a leg kick but Putnam checks it and Putnam counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Putnam controlling the action here.

It looks like Ronnie Putnam has been cut. Putnam has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Fu clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Putnam doesn't have the hooks in and Fu manages to turn into his guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fu thumps Putnam with a low kick. Fu moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Fu is looking to chop away at Putnam's legs. Fu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Putnam. Fu lands a head kick. Putnam smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Putnam fails with a takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Putnam. Wu Tang Fu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronnie Putnam.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Putnam checks a leg kick. Fu throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Putnam looks winded! Fu connects with a leg kick. Putnam looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Fu throws a nice inside leg kick. Fu scores with a head kick. Putnam tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fu bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Fu lands with a kick to the ribs.
Fu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A good leg kick by Fu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Fu is looking to score with low kicks. Fu scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Fu throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Fu delivers a nice body kick. Fu throws a nice outside leg kick. Fu throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Putnam tumbling to the canvas!
Putnam is rocked! Fu slips nicely into half guard. Putnam is still in real trouble! Can Fu finish him? The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Putnam is in trouble now - Fu has advanced to mount! Fu landing strikes, looking to finish! Putnam is trying to stand up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wu Tang Fu dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ronnie Putnam's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Fu throws a quick head kick that knocks Putnam silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Fu is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
