The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sly tries to clinch there but Stirling circles away.
Sly closes the distance and clinches up with Stirling, looking for a takedown. Sly pushes Stirling against the cage but Stirling circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stirling but Stirling pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Stirling stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Suhonen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McCaned moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McCaned checks a leg kick.
McCaned fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nice straight punches there by McCaned. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of McCaned.
Suhonen throws a shot from downtown. McCaned moves away and avoids it.
Suhonen throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Suhonen.
McCaned takes a swing at Suhonen's ribcage but misses.
Suhonen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McCaned was well out of range. Poor timing from Suhonen.
McCaned displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Suhonen throws out the jab.

McCaned uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Suhonen has time to react.

McCaned defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Suhonen.

McCaned leaves Suhonen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

McCaned dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Suhonen. That did some damage!
Suhonen is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

McCaned lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Suhonen is looking to close the distance but McCaned sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Suhonen crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Suhonen is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
