Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aegon Blackfyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ikuhisa Minowa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blackfyre comes into the arena with DJ Shadow / Six Days blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blackfyre manages to work his way to half guard, despite Minowa's best efforts.
Blackfyre is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Minowa is looking to advance position but Blackfyre won't allow it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Minowa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Blackfyre is just riding it out for now. Minowa eventually gives up the hold.

Minowa has hold of Blackfyre's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Blackfyre tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Minowa cranks the arm and Blackfyre screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Blackfyre, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ikuhisa Minowa!

Ikuhisa Minowa seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
