The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White lunges at Okoye with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Okoye's hand.
White shoots in looking for a takedown. Okoye tries to sprawl out of it but White keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Okoye manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
White connects with a jab.
White looks to score with a jab to the body but Okoye is just out of range.
Okoye fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
White lands with a straight right. Okoye didn't see that one coming.
White lands a nice hook to Okoye's body. Okoye takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
White lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dmitry Belov!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bot sprawls well. Bot wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Belov gets slowly back to his feet.
Belov shoots for a double leg takedown but Bot sprawls well. He's pushed Belov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Belov takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Belov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bot bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Belov's head backwards.

Bot sends Belov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bot is motioning to the referee to let Belov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Dmitry Belov has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bot fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Belov fails with a takedown attempt.
Payakaroon Bot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dmitry Belov.

Bot lands a big head kick that sends Belov tumbling to the mat! Bot takes a step backwards and waves Belov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Belov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Belov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Belov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

With the fighters up against the cage, Topless throws an elbow but misses.
Topless takes a shot to the head.
Topless tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Axelsson avoids it.
Axelsson avoids a wild elbow strike from Topless.
Axelsson blocks an elbow strike.
Topless has Axelsson pressed against the cage, preventing Axelsson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Topless blocks an uppercut.
Topless throws an elbow but it misses.
Topless prevents a body shot from Axelsson.
Topless creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Axelsson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Topless's elbow.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Axelsson.
Topless really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Axelsson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Topless has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
