That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jon Johnson.

Penn shoots for a takedown but Shimizu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hiroto Shimizu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Penn has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Shimizu should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Penn has tightened it up now! Shimizu should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
