The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Phillips with that takedown attempt. Phillips will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Phillips smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Phillips shoots in for a takedown but Young shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Colin Phillips. That's going to take a lot out of him. Phillips scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Young is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Phillips is controlling him well. Phillips decides to stand back up. Phillips steps back and let's Young get back to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Young looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Phillips throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Young's waist but Young gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Phillips off to one side. Phillips fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Young avoids it really well and circles away. Phillips closes the distance but Young moves to the side and Young counters with a hugh head kick that removes Phillips from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vukovic will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bob S Vukovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vukovic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vukovic wants it to stay on the feet. Vukovic forces Anderson back against the cage and clinches. Anderson stops a takedown attempt from Vukovic.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Instructor tries to close the distance and clinch but Wheeler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wheeler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wheeler wants to control from the top but Instructor keeps moving. Wheeler passes Instructor's left leg - he's now in half guard. Instructor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wheeler on the ground. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! East circles away from the clinch attempt.

McBride bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. McBride fails to land a wild elbow strike.
