0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kaz Yago! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phan connects with a leg kick. Yago looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Phan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Phan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Yago throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Phan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Phan misses with a two punch combination.
Yago throws an overhand right that lands on Phan's shoulder, as Phan tries to avoid the shot. Yago dodges the punch combination from Phan.
Phan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Yago throws a big shot that misses. Phan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Yago looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Phan throws a sloppy head kick and Yago moves out of range easily. A right-left combo lands from Phan. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Phan is defended easily by Yago. Yago misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yago darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Phan misses with a series of wild punches.
A big right from Yago misses. Yago looks to land a combination but Phan avoids it well. Yago looks to land a combination but Phan avoids it well. Phan looks to land a body kick but Yago moved away. Phan misses with a few strikes there.
Phan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Yago feints a jab promting Phan to slip. Yago then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Phan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Nam Phan has been cut. Nam Phan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yago thows a body shot but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yago looks to land a right hand but Phan moved out of range. Yago misses with a two punch combination.
Phan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yago has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Phan off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Phan misses with the combination.
Yago lands with an overhand left. Yago swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Phan counters with a big head kick but Yago shrugs it off. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Phan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Yago has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Yago and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Yago avoids a kick to the body.
Kaz Yago is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Yago fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Phan avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Phan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Yago eats them both and turns towards Phan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Phan is breathing heavily. Yago throws a series of punches but Phan moves out of range. Phan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Yago scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Phan looks to land a combination but Yago avoids it well. Good shot there by Yago. Yago comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Yago slips a jab and a cross from Phan.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yago catches Phan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Nam Phan's cut is getting worse. Yago is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Phan had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Yago throws a right hand that Phan ducks under and follows up with a left that Phan also avoids with ease. Yago lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Yago throws a series of punches but Phan avoids them all with ease. A combination from Yago does no damage. Phan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Yago darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Phan is rocked! Yago steps in with a hook that catches Phan right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Yago follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Phan looks absolutely devastated.

Marshall Ii gets the takedown into side control. Marshall Ii decides to stand back up. Marshall Ii drives through with a takedown into Conlon's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Marshall Ii controls from within his opponent's guard. Conlon is looking to sinch up a triangle. Marshall Ii throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Conlon's body to avoid the submission. Conlon has instead reached around Marshall Ii's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Conlon arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palhares tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ryan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Palhares somewhat. Ryan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Palhares moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Palhares manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ryan on his heels. He'll look to pass Ryan's guard now, I'm sure. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ryan wants to stand but Palhares is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Palhares postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ryan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Palhares is controlling him. Ryan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Palhares controls the pace. Palhares thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Palhares controls from within his opponent's guard. Palhares seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ryan for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Palhares is controlling him. Palhares preventing the sweep. Palhares passes Ryan's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Palhares seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Palhares is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ryan is in trouble now - Palhares has advanced to mount! Palhares is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ryan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ryan shrugs it off. This has been an exciting period of action! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ryan is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryan has left one of his arms exposed and Palhares doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ryan screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Glenn was covering up waiting for the punch and King finishes the takedown easily into guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. King drops back, looking for a kneebar! Glenn looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Glenn looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Glenn! Glenn tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Glenn controlling from side mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Glenn is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Robert Glenn has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Glenn feints and as King raises his hands in defense, Glenn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. King should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Glenn passes King's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Glenn prevents King from improving his position. Glenn wants to take a breather but King is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Glenn working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on King's thigh. King counters though and makes it back to full guard. Glenn trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Glenn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Glenn dominated that round. That's time! Glenn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
King looking to score a takedown here. Glenn is defending well but King drives through and ends up in Glenn's guard. King is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Glenn is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Glenn has escaped and now he's on top! King had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Glenn defends it easily. Glenn passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glenn moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Glenn tries to move into full mount but can't pass King's legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. King manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Glenn is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of King's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take King's back! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. King looking very determined here, making life difficult for Glenn.
Glenn controlling the position well here. King rolled but Glenn kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Glenn's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Glenn doesn't have the hooks in and King manages to turn into his guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Glenn holds on and takes a little breather.
We're going to have a standup here because Robert Glenn wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. King throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Glenn was covering up waiting for the punch and King finishes the takedown easily into guard. King postures up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Robert Glenn will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Robert Glenn. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Glenn, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brascoe looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Brascoe throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Brascoe pushing down on Reid's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Reid tries to get to full guard but Brascoe has control of the leg. Brascoe prevents Reid from standing back up.
Reid blocking the ground and pound attempt from Brascoe. Brascoe sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Reid defending well though. Brascoe seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Reid is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Don Brascoe decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Box misses with a right hand enabling Brown to counter with a crisp jab. Box walks into a stiff left hand from Brown. Box ducks right into an uppercut from Brown. Brown steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Box. Box on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

and Brown counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Box swings widly with a right hand
letting Brown counter with a right hand. A combination from Brown does no damage. Brown fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Brown moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Box takes one to the chin there. Brown avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A jab from Brown finds it's way through Box's defenses. Brown fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Box on the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Box misses with a left hand and Box takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Brown is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Brown closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Box is rocked! Box is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Brown drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Box right on the button. Box goes down! Brown follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Brown gets the win via TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Rua looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rua tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Young manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Young shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Young trying to control but he's not successful this time. Young lands with some strikes. Young is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Rua to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rua shrugs it off. Rua wants to get back to his feet.
Young controlling the position easily from mount. Rua wants to hold on but Young pushes him away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Young lands a nice shot to the head. Young controlling the pace for now. Rua really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Young. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Young in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fachellie throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A head kick misses from Fachellie. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Phone crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fachellie - the referee stops the clock and Phone gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fachellie. Phone manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Phone tries for a takedown but Fachellie sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Phone fails with a takedown attempt. Fachellie changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Fachellie thows a body kick. Phone tries to catch it but that hurt him. Phone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fachellie tries to avoid it but Phone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fachellie to the ground. Fachellie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fachellie throws a quick inside leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Fachellie! Phone is out on his feet! Fachellie rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Phone is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Phone is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Omtea Sailo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. King D Sailo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. King D Sailo will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Omtea Sailo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Omtea Sailo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but King D Sailo has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Omtea Sailo is looking to defend but King D Sailo has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Omtea Sailo! King D Sailo pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Omtea Sailo taps out and this one is all over!
