16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Tank! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Laz Herculus! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Herculus takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tank throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Tank thows a left - swing and a miss! Tank takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Frank Tank has been cut. Herculus's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tank under the eye. The fighters circling - Herculus throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Tank cracks the inside of Herculus's front leg. Tank tries to land a leg kick but Herculus saw it coming and moves away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tank pivots, looking for a leg kick but Herculus is out of range and Tank settles back down. Herculus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tank moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tank lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Herculus has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Herculus and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Tank smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Tank ducks under a wild hook from Herculus. Tank tries to close the distance and clinch but Herculus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Herculus misses with an uppercut
and Tank counters with a nice body kick. Tank connects with a nice looking jab.
Tank is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A punch combination from Tank misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tank feints and then cracks Herculus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Herculus down. Herculus feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tanks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Herculus throws a lazy uppercut
and Tank counters with a flying knee that drops Herculus! Tank dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Tank! A relieved looking Frank Tank thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoy swings for the body but Lee Jr moves out of range.
Lee Jr misses with a takedown attempt letting Hoy counter with a right hand. Hoy misses with a lunging right hand
and Lee Jr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lee Jr shoots in but Hoy avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hoy throws a jab but it's blocked by Lee Jr. Lee Jr shoots in for a double leg but Hoy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Lee Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lee Jr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lee Jr has his takedown stuffed and Hoy counters with a leg kick. Hoy scores with a jab to the head.
Lee Jr throws the left hand but Hoy avoids the punch easily. Hoy throws an overhand right that lands on Lee Jr's shoulder, as Lee Jr tries to avoid the shot. Hoy stuffs the takedown attempt from Lee Jr. Lee Jr gets slowly back to his feet. Lee Jr gets the takedown into side control. Lee Jr is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoy manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Hoy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Let's hope that Hoy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Lee Jr is looking to control Hoy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lee Jr avoid being mounted? Lee Jr is trying to control but Hoy passes into side control!
Hoy stands up and beckons Lee Jr to his feet. Lee Jr gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Hoy counter with a right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee Jr blocks a head kick by Hoy.
Lee Jr shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hoy as he avoids it easily. Lee Jr shoots in and drives through. Hoy sprawls well. Hoy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lee Jr momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hoy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lee Jr has time to react. Hoy swings for the body but Lee Jr moves out of range.
Hoy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee Jr. Hoy digs a good hook to Lee Jr's body.
Lee Jr shoots for a takedown but Hoy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hoy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Hoy throws out a loose jab but Lee Jr uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee Jr takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Lee Jr takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Hoy throws a good cross that connects.
Hoy throws an overhand right that lands on Lee Jr's shoulder, as Lee Jr tries to avoid the shot. Oooooh!!! Hoy has knocked Lee Jr down with a huge combo! Hoy steps away and waves a wobbly Lee Jr back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Lee Jr is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lee Jr takes a body punch but keeps moving. Oh Lee Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hoy lands a nice hook to Lee Jr's body. Lee Jr takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Hoy drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Lee Jr's head, knocking him out cold! Hoy is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivera with a poor takedown and Nasri counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Nasri pulls guard effortlessly. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Nasri can't keep his opponent in guard - Rivera advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Rivera is looking for a kimura but Nasri is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rivera to get the leverage. Rivera is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Nasri to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nasri controlling the position. Nasri trying to strike off his back.

Rivera drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Nasri manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rivera has Nasri in his guard. Nasri wants to finish this one by submission but Rivera is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nasri. Nasri prevents Rivera from getting the reversal.

Great action here. Rivera tries to improve his position but Nasri has taken his back! Nasri has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Rivera tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Nasri pushes Rivera away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

It looks like Elias Nielsen has been cut. Nielsen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hernandez as he jumps to the side. Hernandez slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Hernandez slaps away a takedown attempt from Nielsen, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hernandez misses with the combination.
Hernandez scores with a nice head shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nielsen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hernandez.
Hernandez grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Nielsen takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Hernandez cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Li misses with a short punch on the inside. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Li scores with a shoulder strike. Li with a knee to the head.
Herer takes an elbow to the temple. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jia Le Li dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Li ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Herer moves away. Herer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Herer blocks a jab. Jia Le Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Li is looking to clinch. Li has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Li blocks a head kick by Herer.
Herer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Li misses with a leg kick and Herer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Herer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Li throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Herer loads up on a big right hand but Li slips the punch. Li ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Herer moves away. Herer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Good leg kick by Li there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

A telegraphed right hand from Li misses the target. Li fails to land with a series of punches.
Herer's corner calls for a 1-2. Herer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Li looks to land a combination but Herer avoids it well. Herer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. A chopping leg kick lands by Li. Herer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Li scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Herer doesn't seem bothered though. A head kick misses from Li. Good work by Li as he checks the leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Herer swats away the attempt to clinch by Li. Li throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Herer stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Li follows into mount! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Oooooh, big shot lands for Li! Herer is hurt baaadly! Li is firing away with more strikes - Herer is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nasri throws a hook to the side of Cat's head but Cat sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nasri throws a body punch but Cat moves out of range. Nasri lands a nice looking body shot.

Cat throws a leg kick but Nasri sees it coming and checks it nicely. Nasri misses with a hook to the body
and Cat counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nasri misses with a wild body shot. Nasri punishes Cat's body with a nice straight punch. Cat steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nasri. Cat pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nasri throws a jab when Cat was well out of range. Nasri digs a good hook to Cat's body.

Nasri is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Nasri throws a big shot that misses. Cat throws a chopping leg kick but Nasri manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Cat defending well as Nasri loads up on a big left hand. Nasri tests Cat's chin there with a solid looking shot. Sloppy strikes from Nasri. Those never looked like landing. Nasri avoids the head kick by Cat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nasri misses with a wild body shot. Nasri throws a hook but Cat avoids it easily. Nasri misses with a hook. Cat ducked under it nicely. Cat with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nasri to score with a decent uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lance Nasri dominated that round. The cut man is working on Lance Nasri's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Cat had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Cat lands with a kick to the temple. Nasri shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Lance Nasri is winning the standup battle so far. Nasri lands a hook that stumbles Cat back into the cage. Nasri follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Cat to the canvas! Nasri pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Cat has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

I think Mongtong might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Blackened. Billy Thompson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Johnson tries to buck Tancev off but Tancev is having none of it. Tancev is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Johnson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Johnson struggling a bit here. A lull in the action here as Tancev stalls from top position. Johnson is trying to control Tancev's posture but Tancev avoids it. You can see the frustration on Johnson's face as Tancev controls the position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tancev tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tancev has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Johnson is looking to reverse the position.

Tancev is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

He's persisting with it as Saratuwari sprawls well. Saratuwari wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Signal gets slowly back to his feet. Signal with a poor takedown and Saratuwari counters with a straight right hand. Saratuwari looks to land a right hand but Signal moved out of range. Saratuwari slips a jab from Signal. Saratuwari misses with a looping right. Signal defending well as Saratuwari loads up on a big left hand. Signal shoots in and drives through. Saratuwari sprawls well. It looks like Jack Woods has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Woods chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jones can pounce on him.

and Woods counters with a low kick, right behind Jones 's knee. Woods avoids the body shot from Jones.
Woods throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Woods goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Woods is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jones is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Woods. Jones misses with an uppercut. Woods saw that one coming. Jones fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Jones misses with the combination.
Woods throws a body kick that misses. Woods with a lazy takedown attempt and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Woods looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Woods turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Jones fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Woods looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jones is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Woods is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jones. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Woods takes a shot right to the bread basket. Jones misses the shot to the body. A head kick by Woods misses and Jones counters with a lovely shot to the body. No luck for Woods with that takedown attempt. Woods has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Woods checks it well. Jones scores with a nice head shot.

Jones is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Woods like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Woods from another fist facial!
