Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Clyde Dixon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eugene Oregon! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oregon doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dixon counters with a nice body shot. Oregon fails with the takedown and Dixon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Oregon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Oregon stalling away here and it's allowed Dixon to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Oregon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Oregon trying to control but Dixon is working from the bottom. Oregon is looking to stand up but Dixon won't let him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Oregon postures up in Dixon's guard and throws a big left but Dixon blocks it. Oregon working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Dixon keeping full guard, as Oregon tries to pass. Oregon with a flurry of punches that miss. Oregon stands and throws Dixon's legs to the side, diving into side control. Oregon misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Oregon tries to score with some ground and pound. Dixon controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oregon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dixon keeps working. Oregon throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Dixon works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Oregon looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Oregon is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dixon has managed to free his arm - good work. Oregon working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Dixon's thigh. Dixon counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Oregon with a flurry of punches that miss. Dixon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dixon working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Oregon.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oregon passes easily into side control. Nice work. Dixon parries the strikes from Oregon easily there. Oregon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dixon to escape.

Oregon thows a huge punch but Dixon dodges it nicely.
Oregon throws a strike but Dixon avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Oregon throws an elbow that misses. Dixon uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Oregon's guard. Nice move by Dixon! Oregon is pulling down on Dixon's head. It's preventing any offense from Dixon, at least for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon prevents Oregon from getting back to his feet. Oregon is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Eugene Oregon has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Oregon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dixon stuffs the takedown. Dixon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Oregon. Clyde Dixon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Oregon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dixon to the mat! Dixon manages to get full guard. Dixon wants to stand up but Oregon is controlling him. Oregon cracks Dixon with a solid left hand. Oregon forces his way into half guard.

Dixon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Oregon distracts Dixon with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Oregon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dixon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oregon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dixon scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Oregon shoots for a double leg takedown but Dixon sprawls well. He's pushed Oregon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Oregon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dixon on his heels. He'll look to pass Dixon's guard now, I'm sure. Oregon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Oregon trying to control but Dixon is working from the bottom. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dixon wants to stand but Oregon is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eugene Oregon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Oregon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dixon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Eugene Oregon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Oregon gets the takedown into side control. Dixon is working to avoid the ground and pound but Oregon connects with a decent elbow. Dixon tries to escape but Oregon is in control. Oregon has knee on belly and moves into mount. Oregon goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Dixon turns into him and now he's in Oregon's guard.
Eugene Oregon has got the better of the ground game so far. Oregon wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oregon is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Oregon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oregon wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Dixon manages to pass to side control. Oregon gets full guard. Oregon looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Dixon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Oregon pushes Dixon off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oregon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Clyde Dixon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Oregon shoots for a takedown but Dixon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Clyde Dixon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Clyde Dixon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eugene Oregon. Oregon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dixon pinned against the cage. Dixon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dixon misses with a body shot.

Oregon is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dixon gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Dixon lands a body shot. Oregon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Dixon can't find room to land a body shot as Oregon controls the action.
Oregon has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dixon after a bit of a struggle. Dixon prevents the takedown attempt.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Oregon. Dixon gets through Oregon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Dixon softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Oregon blocks an uppercut.

Dixon pushes Oregon back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dixon lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Dixon.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Clyde Dixon. I think Oregon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amarena is looking to chop away at Nekkid's legs. Nekkid checks a low kick from Amarena. Amarena scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Nekkid checks a leg kick nicely. Amarena gets tackled into the cage by Nekkid. Nekkid maintains the clinch. Amarena fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Two more strikes land for Amarena and the fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! My swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hatred counters with a head kick. That will keep My thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! My misses with a few strikes there.
A punch combination from My misses. My throws a sloppy head kick and Hatred moves out of range easily. Hatred connects with a leg kick. My looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. My throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hatred finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Hatred scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Hatred throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hatred chopping away at his opponent's legs.
My is breathing heavily. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hatred.
Hatred feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to My's calf. Hatred scores with a kick to the midsection. A head kick lands from Hatred that sends My to the canvas. My tries to scramble back to his feet but Hatred brings him back down into side control.
My is rocked! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Hatred creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Oh My is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! A big shot lands for Hatred! That's hurt My! Will he recover? Hatred fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rua throws a nice looking combination but Cass bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cass looks for a takedown but Rua sprawls well. Cass moves out of range as Rua strikes. Cass is looking to clinch but Rua is avoiding it.
Cass fails with the takedown. Cass wants to clinch. Rua throws a hook but Cass avoids it easily. Cass on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rua throws a series of punches but Cass avoids them all with ease. Cass shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeffrey Cass. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rua darts in and out, connecting with a jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cass keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jeffrey Cass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cass misses with a takedown attempt and Rua counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Cass badly! Rua follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Cass out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Rua finished him against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Chef throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Drogba throws a jab when The Chef was well out of range. The Chef is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The Chef chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Drogba can pounce on him.
Drogba throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Drogba throws a poor cross that misses
and The Chef counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by The Chef. Drogba looking to stall.
Drogba landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Drogba tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Drogba lands an elbow inside that The Chef shrugs off. Drogba throws a punch but it's blocked by The Chef. The Chef wants to stall.

Drogba misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from The Chef.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Drogba throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but The Chef blocks it with crossed arms. Drogba swings wildly with an uppercut but The Chef uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Chef is trying to force a seperation but Drogba has the dominant position. Drogba blocks a body shot from The Chef. The Chef ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. The Chef no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The Chef managing to control the position. Drogba wants to control from the top but The Chef keeps moving. The Chef trying to control the position here. The Chef keeping moving, preventing Drogba from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gerard Drogba. Drogba swings widly with a right hand
and The Chef counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by The Chef. The Chef lands with a right to the head. The Chef breaks the clinch.
Drogba throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Drogba tries a head kick but it misses.
Drogba misses with a hook. The Chef ducked under it nicely. The Chef showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Drogba.

The Chef has managed to clinch.
The Chef blocks an elbow strike from Drogba.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Chef lands a right hand. Drogba misses with an elbow over the top. The Chef lands with a short head shot on the inside. Drogba throws an elbow but it misses.

Drogba using the Thai plumb to throw knees but The Chef has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
The Chef manages to break the clinch.
The Chef ducks under a wild hook from Drogba. The Chef closes the distance and clinches. The Chef makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Drogba misses with a hook to the ribs.
Drogba lands a knee to the head.
Drogba creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through The Chef's defenses. The Chef pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Drogba throws a jab when The Chef was well out of range. Drogba throws a right hand that misses
and The Chef counters with a lovely straight right hand! Drogba takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Drogba is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. The Chef just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Drogba has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Raekwon The Chef! Raekwon The Chef retains his lightweight title! After winning the bout, Raekwon The Chef thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
