Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Earl Morris! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morris misses with a series of wild punches.
James throws a right and a left that Morris avoids nicely. James feints and as Morris raises his hands in defense, James changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. James trying to control but Morris is working from the bottom. James trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. James is working hard here to advance position. James slips nicely into half guard. Morris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with James. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Morris is refusing to be controlled, as James sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. James thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Morris's head. James not landing any meaningful shots this time. James prevents Morris from standing back up.
James working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. James frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Morris blocking the ground and pound. James cracks Morris with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. James unloads with some shots from mount but Morris bucks and avoids them well.

Morris is rocked! James looking to control and managing it successfully. Morris is still in real trouble! Can James finish him? James has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. James punching from mount but Morris doing a good job of avoiding damage. Morris seems to have recovered his senses. James can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Morris is looking to escape. James pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! James landing punches. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James loads up with a big shot that hurts Morris! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tysse looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Tysse closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Tysse pulls guard successfully.
Tysse is looking to stand up but Li isn't so interested in that idea. Li looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Tysse is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Li with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Li controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Tysse throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Li is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Li will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kid Li wasn't doing enough on the ground. Tysse throws a head kick but Li moves out of range.
Li tries a low kick but Tysse avoids it. Li moves out of range of the body kick. Tysse tries to clinch up but Li circles away and keeps his distance. Tysse tries to clinch but Li moves out of range. Tysse throws a leg kick but Li sees it coming and moves out of range. Li ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tysse moves away. Kim Tysse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tysse misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Li swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tysse has closed the distance and engaged Li in a clinch.
Tysse putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Li in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Tysse escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Li tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Tysse is able to avoid easily. Tysse is looking to score with low kicks. Li scores with a sloppy right hand. Tysse should have avoided that one.
It looks like Kim Tysse has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Li avoids a kick to the body.
Li attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Tysse wants to clinch. Li closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tysse to the mat! Tysse manages to get full guard. Tysse can't keep his opponent in guard - Li advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Li seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Li throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Li wants to free his trapped foot but Tysse is holding on for dear life with his legs. Li passes the guard and advances to mount! BOOM! Li connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Li has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tysse's face.
Li lands with some strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Li controlling the pace for now. A nice elbow there by Li.
Tysse is rocked! Whack. That's a big, big shot from Li! Tysse is out cold! This one is all over!

McGuire is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. This has been an exciting period of action! McGuire throws a body punch but Dick moves out of range. McGuire with a nice cross. Dick pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. McGuire waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dick. McGuire throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Dick throws a right hand that McGuire ducks under and follows up with a left that McGuire also avoids with ease. A solid body kick from McGuire. McGuire scores with a push kick. Dick looks winded! McGuire forces Dick back against the cage and clinches. Still in the clinch, McGuire scores with a nice short uppercut. McGuire lands on the inside with an uppercut. Dick changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McGuire fights it off and pushes away nicely.
McGuire throws a combination. Dick tries to block but a couple of punches get through. A punch lands to the side of Dick 's head but he takes it in his stride. Dick throws a head kick that misses and McGuire counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. McGuire is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. McGuire lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dick's sensitive parts.

McGuire's corner calls for a 1-2. McGuire obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. McGuire scores with a spinning back kick! McGuire scores with a kick to the midsection. McGuire closes the distance and clinches. Dick is trying to force a seperation but McGuire has the dominant position. McGuire prevents Dick from breaking the clinch. McGuire's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McGuire throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dick tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Nice body punch from McGuire. McGuire clobbers Dick with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. McGuire throws a leg kick which misses Dick's front leg but catches the back leg as Dick tries to avoid it. Dick's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dick takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
McGuire lands a nice looking body kick. McGuire connects with a body shot that sends Dick's belly button to the back. Dick has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from McGuire. A head kick misses from Dick. McGuire lands a nice looking kick to the body. Dick takes a step back to recover. McGuire pushes Dick up against the cage in a clinch. Dick drops down looking for an ankle pick but McGuire pulls his leg out and moves away.
McGuire throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dick stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dick drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. McGuire thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Dick if he has to take too many more of those.
McGuire lands with a slapping head kick. Dick fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGuire manages to avoid it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zander McGuire dominated that round. The cut man is working on Zander McGuire's cut. That's time! McGuire's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and McGuire counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dick takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. McGuire moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A left and a right from McGuire both land. Nice combination. Dick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McGuire moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McGuire uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dick has time to react. McGuire jabs at Dick's body. McGuire lands a leg kick that knocks Dick off balance momentarily. McGuire pushes Dick away with a front kick. McGuire lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McGuire checks a low kick from Dick. McGuire has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. McGuire scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. A nice leg kick lands there from McGuire. Dick chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McGuire can pounce on him.

Dick has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McGuire. Dick has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McGuire finds it's way round the side to connect with Dick's head. McGuire lands a jab to Dick's midsection. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McGuire cracks a nice hook into Dick's ribs. McGuire misses with a body shot.

McGuire bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dick's head backwards. A solid leg kick lands there for McGuire.
McGuire lands a nice looking kick to the body. Dick takes a step back to recover. Dick takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

A body shot lands from McGuire.
And that's the end of the fight! Zander McGuire showed his dominance in that final round. Well McGuire has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tosen throws a hook to the side of Chim's head but Chim sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Chim moves out of range of the body kick from Tosen.
Tosen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Chim avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Tosen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tosen controlling from the top position. Chim trying to control the position.

Tosen misses with a takedown attempt - Chim sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Tosen throws a front kick aimed at Chim's knee but Chim avoids it well. Tosen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Tosen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chim works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tosen postures up.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tosen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tosen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Chim is trying to control the position but Tosen postures up. Tosen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Chim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tosen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chim looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Tosen works over Chim with some ground and pound from guard. Tosen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Tosen advances to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chim keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A low kick from Tosen is predictable there and Chim counters with a head kick. That will keep Tosen thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Tosen throws a low kick but Chim avoids it. Chim connects with a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jab by Chim. Tosen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Chim lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roach connects with a right hand. Fitch shakes it off. Roach turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Roach dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fitch. That did some damage! Roach lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Dominick Fitch has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Fitch walks forward, straight into a front kick from Roach. Fitch is breathing heavily. A decent looking body kick lands there for Roach. Look low, kick high! Roach uses the oldest trick in the book to send Fitch tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout!
