The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kingston looking to score a takedown here. Midget is defending well but Kingston drives through and ends up in Midget's guard.
Midget is looking to stand up but Kingston isn't so interested in that idea.

and Reyes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bato connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Bato gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bato doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Totoy Bato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bato throws an overhand right that lands on Reyes's shoulder, as Reyes tries to avoid the shot.
Reyes takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bato cracks Reyes with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Bato uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Reyes.
Reyes tests Bato's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Reyes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bato throws out the jab.

Reyes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bato.
Bato throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bato slips a jab and a cross from Reyes.
Bato throws a lazy uppercut
and Reyes counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Reyes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bato misses with a looping right.
