The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bean closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hogan 's guard.

Bean postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hogan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bean, into his guard.
Bean keeping full guard, as Hogan tries to pass.

Hogan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bean manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hogan has Bean in his guard.

Bean drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hogan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hogan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hogan !

Hogan is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bean looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hogan gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bean is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hogan lets go of the hold and Bean can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Burnett shoots in for a takedown but Givens shows good takedown defense.
Sloppy strikes from Burnett. Those never looked like landing.
Givens shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Burnett defends it nicely.

Givens gets caught napping as Burnett dives in and scores a takedown. Givens manages to retain guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Burnett has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Givens to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Burnett is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Givens pulls down on the head and he's put Burnett to sleep! This one is all over!

Zhukov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bin Laden swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Zhukov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zhukov throws a low kick, looking for Bin Laden's leg but Bin Laden calmly moves out of range.
Zhukov feints and then cracks Bin Laden's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bin Laden down.

The ref is looking closely - Zhukov is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Zhukov is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended.
