He only made it down to 157.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Johnson has control of Fredericks's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Fredericks regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Johnson looking to control but Fredericks is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fredericks, as that shot connected.

Joe Fredericks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fredericks connects with a looping right hand.
Fredericks throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Fredericks fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Johnson.
Johnson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fredericks.
