The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricci displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hill.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ricci is defended easily by Hill.
A head kick misses from Hill.
Hill is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ricci sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ricci leaves Hill with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Ricci.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Ricci decides to take the fight back to the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hill enables Ricci to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hill manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Hill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ricci on the ground.

Hill is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Hill has his foot on Ricci's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ricci works his way back into a safe position though.

Hill escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ricci gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hill is breathing heavily.
Ricci controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Ricci is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ricci passes Hill's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ricci is looking for a kimura but Hill is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ricci to get the leverage.
Ricci content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ricci is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Mike Ricci comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.

Young has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Young looks winded!

Smith wants to work for an arm triangle but Young is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Smith wants to pass the guard but Young is defending well.
It looks like Smith is going to stand back up.

Smith is nestled in close to Young, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Smith tries to pass the half guard into mount. Young knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Smith is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Smith is looking to advance position but Young won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Smith in particular looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Colton Smith.

Smith shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Smith showed some decent athleticism there.
Smith slows the pace down in half guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Colton Smith wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Young moves out of range easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Riley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Manley 's guard.
Riley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Riley loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Manley can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Riley controls the pace.

Riley stands up and waves to Manley to follow him.
Manley fails with the takedown

and Riley holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Manley wants to break free but Riley has control.

Riley successfully pulls guard.
Manley stopping the sweep attempt from Riley.

Riley seems keen to control Manley 's posture.

Riley makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Manley misses with a few strikes there.
Riley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Manley moves away.

and Riley moves into the clinch.

Riley wants the takedown. Manley is fighting it off but Riley persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Manley 's guard against the cage.

Chaney closes the distance and clinches up with Magney, looking for a takedown. Chaney pushes Magney against the cage but Magney circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Chaney keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Chaney fails with a takedown attempt.
Magney takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Magney gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Chaney wants to get back to striking at distance but Magney won't allow it.

Chaney successfully pulls guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Magney looking to pass the guard.
Magney trying to control the position from guard on top but Chaney is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Magney looking to sit in guard and control but Chaney gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Chaney wants to stand but Magney is controlling his posture from full guard.
Magney is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Chaney trying to control the position from guard on top but Magney is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Chaney won't allow Magney to get back to his feet.
Chaney content to stall in guard here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Chaney darts in trying to clinch
and Magney makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Magney looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Chaney wants to clinch but Magney slips to the side
and Magney counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nice straight punches there by Magney. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Magney.
Magney keeps the fight on the outside.

Chaney gets tackled into the cage by Magney. Magney maintains the clinch.

Magney's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Chaney stuffs the takedown.
James Chaney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Neil Magney.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice takedown defense from Chaney. No joy for Magney on that attempt.
Magney tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chaney shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
