Hardy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Wright leaves Ziomek with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ziomek shoots in but no luck this time.

Wright lands a left and a right that send Ziomek crashing to the mat, dazed. Wright thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Ziomek is rocked!

It looks like Muniek Ziomek has been cut.
Ziomek leaves his chin hanging out and Wright seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Ziomek crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luis Alberto Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Perez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hollywood Undead - Hear Me Now . Luis Alberto Perez had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Thomas is looking to sinch up a triangle. Perez throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Thomas's body to avoid the submission. Thomas has instead reached around Perez's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Thomas arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
