The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsunaga misses with a body kick. Twist fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Matsunaga looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Twist scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Matsunaga fails with the takedown and Twist connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Twist scores with a leg kick.
Matsunaga lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Twist lands with a kick to the ribs.
Twist's jab looks to have found its range, popping Matsunaga under the eye. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Twist throws out a powerful jab. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Del Geno has a takedown stuffed. Del Geno shoots in and drives through. Payakaroon sprawls well. Del Geno closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Payakaroon to the mat! Payakaroon manages to get full guard. Del Geno stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Payakaroon swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Payakaroon is pulling down on Del Geno's head. It's preventing any offense from Del Geno, at least for the moment. Del Geno stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Payakaroon swivels though and keeps the full guard. Payakaroon being controlled here, momentarily. Del Geno tries to free his leg and advance position but Payakaroon is retaining full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Del Geno working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Payakaroon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Del Geno. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Del Geno wants to pass the guard but Payakaroon is defending well. Del Geno passes to side control. Del Geno throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Ludher feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ludher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. John swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ludher is looking to work some ground and pound but John has wrist control. Ludher won't allow John to get back to his feet. Ludher with a flurry of punches that miss. John wants to get back to his feet but Ludher is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ludher working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of John's head. Ludher has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. Pike will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Moosh LooLoo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! LooLoo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
LooLoo is looking to clinch. LooLoo looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. LooLoo takes a jab right on the kisser.

LooLoo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Pike connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Pike throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent LooLoo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Lan Mandragoran has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Mandragoran works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Semenov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mandragoran but Mandragoran pushes him off and we're back to square one. Semenov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mandragoran sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Semenov somewhat. Semenov fails to land the takedown. Langdon complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rosgen thumps Nile with a low kick. Nile throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Nile missing with a left hand there. Rosgen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Rosgen connects with a right hand. Nile shakes it off.
It looks like King Nile has been cut. Nile tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Greg Rosgen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nile steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rosgen. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Nile. Rosgen shrugs it off though. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rosgen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Rosgen shoots for a takedown but Nile saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Nile misses with a head kick.
Rosgen drives through with a takedown into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Rosgen with a flurry of punches that miss. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nile has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nile and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A good leg kick by Nile. Nile cracks Rosgen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Rosgen connects with a leg kick. Nile looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Rosgen bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Nile throws a head kick but Rosgen moves out of range.

A slapping body kick lands there for Nile. That kick from Nile tenderised Rosgen's leg. Rosgen is trying to keep his angry face on. Nile connects with an inside leg kick. Nile buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

A head kick misses from Nile. A jab from Nile does it's job there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nile throws a half hearted mid kick. Nile's corner calls for a 1-2. Nile obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Rosgen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nile.

Rosgen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nile - the referee stops the clock and Rosgen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nile. Rosgen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Nile misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rosgen.
Rosgen shoots in for a takedown but Nile shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greg Rosgen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rosgen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Nile misses with a low kick.
Horrible takedown by Rosgen or perhaps it was just good defense by Nile which made him look bad. Nile throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Obsut closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Leloup's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Obsut throws a big right hand that misses. Leloup controls Obsut momentarily but Obsut frees himself. Obsut trying to control the position from guard on top but Leloup is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Obsut not doing a lot at the moment. You can see the frustration on Obsut's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Leloup content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Jon Leloup is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Obsut tries to improve position but can't. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Obsut is working hard here to advance position. Obsut is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Leloup off and has taken his back!
