Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mad Max! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, RZ Silva! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva throws a big shot that misses. Silva waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Max. Max ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Silva with a body punch. A glancing blow. The fighters circle momentarily. Silva darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Max fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away. Max closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Silva did well to prevent Max getting side control. Silva manages to get to full guard.
Max postures up.
Max got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Max has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Max defends it easily. Max trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Silva is looking to sinch up a triangle. Max throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Silva's body to avoid the submission. Silva has instead reached around Max's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Silva arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). RZ Silva!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machida with a hook. Machida bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Callahan jabs at Machida 's body. Machida slips under a jab. Callahan misses with a left hand and Machida counters with a left and a right that stings Callahan. Machida tries to close the distance and clinch up but Callahan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Callahan sends Machida crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Callahan is motioning to the referee to let Machida up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Lyoto Machida has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Machida swats away the attempt to clinch by Callahan. Callahan throws a hook but Machida avoids it easily. Machida slips under a jab from Callahan. Callahan drops Machida with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Machida looks back up at him and smiles so Callahan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Machida is rocked! Callahan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Oh Machida is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Callahan plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Machida swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Machida face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mychal Callahan! Mychal Callahan very nearly forgot to thank Al's Supplements - 160 Q for $150 amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.

Stomach doesn't succeed with the takedown and Blindside counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Blindside fakes the leg kick and cracks Stomach in the body. Stomach moves forwards but Blindside connects with a nice, crisp jab. Blindside has Stomach up against the cage in a clinch.
Blindside content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Blindside lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like IRon Stomach has been cut. Blindside comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Stomach is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Blindside is defending well for now. Blindside effectively controlling the action here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Blindside lands a damaging elbow. Blindside leaning his opponent against the cage. That has opened up IRon Stomach 's cut even more. Blindside creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Stomach 's defenses. Stomach tries to circle away but Blindside has him pinned against the cage. Blindside lands an elbow inside. Blindside lands a damaging elbow.
The cut above IRon Stomach 's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Blindside lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Blindside - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Stomach wants a takedown but no success here.
Terry Blindside has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of IRon Stomach . The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Blindside has Stomach pushed against the cage. Blindside gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Stomach takes a knee to the side of the body. Stomach tries to pull guard but Blindside won't allow it.

IRon Stomach 's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Blindside gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at IRon Stomach 's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Terry Blindside! After winning the bout, Terry Blindside thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butter throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Butter feints a jab promting Poe to slip. Butter then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Poe slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Butter throws out a leg kick but Poe moves out of range and Butter only half commits. Poe connects with a nice looking jab.
Butter misses with a few strikes there.
Poe lands with a hook. Butter tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Poe avoids a kick to the body.
A nice combination there by Poe.
It looks like Peanut Butter has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Poe paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Poe connects with a solid leg kick. Butter looks for a takedown but Poe sprawls well. Poe's corner calls for a 1-2. Poe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Poe throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Butter's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Poe dives in looking to finish as Butter flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Poe's strikes! Poe is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Butter's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Butter was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Nikolaevich . Nikolaevich throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Santos's waist but Santos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nikolaevich off to one side. Santos fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Nikolaevich with a lazy takedown attempt and Santos counters with a crisp one two that drops Nikolaevich ! Santos thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Nikolaevich to his feet! Nikolaevich is in big trouble! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrei Nikolaevich . That's going to take a lot out of him. This has been an exciting period of action! Santos lands with a shot to the body. Nikolaevich is breathing heavily. Nikolaevich fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Santos changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Santos lands with a big left! Nikolaevich is wobbled badly! Santos comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Nikolaevich to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Junior Dos Santos! A relieved looking Junior Dos Santos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hussain swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Belle lands with a cross. Belle scores with a hook to the body. Hussain takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Belle misses with a double jab.
Belle defending well as Hussain loads up on a big left hand. Belle lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Belle. Belle gets a clinch. Belle comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Belle unloads a knee to the mid-section. A frustrated look appears on Hussain's face as he tries to break the clinch. Hussain wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Hussain wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Belle keeps control of Hussain as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Hussain is looking to break free of the clinch but Belle has double underhooks. Belle lands a hook to the side of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Hussain is trying to break free.

Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Good exchange - Belle coming out on top. Belle lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Belle getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Good shot there by Belle. Belle is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Hussain throws a shot from downtown. Belle moves away and avoids it. Belle lands a slapping body shot.
Belle instigates a clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Belle.
Belle lands an elbow just above Hussain 's eye.
It looks like Tariq Hassan Hussain has been cut. Belle is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Belle lands an elbow inside. Belle scores with an uppercut up the middle. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Belle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hussain misses with a left hand and Belle counters with a lovely shot to the body. Nice cross by Belle. Belle paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Belle scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Thud! ouch! good body kick from Belle - that will leave a mark!
Belle listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hussain's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Belle connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hussain scrambles back to his feet. Crunch! Belle slams his shin into Hussain's torso. Belle lands a slapping body shot.
Belle is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Belle's corner calls for a 1-2. Belle obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Hussain takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Belle moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Belle scores with a hook to the body. Hussain takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Tariq Hassan Hussain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Belle stuns Hussain with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Hussain takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Nice body kick there by Belle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Belle bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Belle throws a one two combo.
Belle darts in and clinches Hussain up against the cage. Belle lands a nice elbow. Belle pushes Hussain back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. A knee to the head by Belle.
Belle connects with a knee to the head.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown stuffs the takedown attempt from Cherry. Cherry gets slowly back to his feet. Cherry slaps away a takedown attempt from Brown, before circling back to the center of the mat. Brown misses with a takedown and Cherry counters with a takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Brown's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Brown gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cherry lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Brown taking some punishment here, with Cherry in his half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Is there anything that Kaplan can do to turn this around? Dog uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kaplan. Kaplan throws a hook but Dog avoids it easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dog lands with a hook. Kaplan swings wildly with an uppercut but Dog uses good head movement to avoid it. Dog's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dog looks to land a combination but Kaplan avoids it well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kaplan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Dog cracks Kaplan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Dog ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kaplan moves away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dog sizes up Kaplan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Dog lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Dog blocks a jab. Dog bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Dog scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Landon Kaplan has been cut. Kaplan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dog cracks Kaplan with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kaplan looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Dog finish him?
Kaplan is rocked! Dog tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kaplan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kaplan is still on wobbly legs! Can Dog finish him? Kaplan throws a half hearted mid kick. Dog ducks under a wild hook from Kaplan. Kaplan seems to have recovered his senses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dog catches Kaplan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Kaplan throws a body punch but Dog moves out of range. Dog fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Dog scores with a nice head shot. Kaplan walks straight into a right hand from Dog - that's dropped him! Dog jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kaplan from any more punishment! Kaplan complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bull Dog! A less than humble Bull Dog misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
