The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kjeldsson pinned against the cage. Kjeldsson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kjeldsson connects with a single shot there.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pope lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kjeldsson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kjeldsson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Kjeldsson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

I really don't envy Deupreaux right now.

A very excited looking Jacques Deupreaux rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
