The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vos throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vos shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cowen as he avoids it easily.
Cowen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Cowen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cowen throws an overhand right that drops Vos like a sack of potatoes! Cowen dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wickline tries for a takedown but Dumbledauf circles away easily
and Dumbledauf counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Dumbledauf shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wickline's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
