The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasquez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lammutaja! Vasquez controlling from mount. Vasquez stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Lammutaja misses with the combination.
Nice combo by Vasquez! Oh, that's hurt him - Lammutaja falls to the canvas and Vasquez follows him into side control.

It looks like Pets Lammutaja has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee asks Vasquez politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Vasquez prefers to stall for the moment though. Vasquez lands an elbow. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut lands for ss. That snapped Fountain's head back.
Fountain on the wrong end of a nice jab. Fountain leaves ss with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. ss misses with a body punch
and Fountain counters with a nice body shot. ss throws a series of punches but Fountain avoids them all with ease. Fountain uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by ss.
ss fails to land the takedown. ss shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fountain defends it nicely. James Fountain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cks ss. ss leaves Fountain with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. ss throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fountain sees it coming and avoids it easily. Fountain showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from ss.
That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for ss, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fountain looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. ss tries to stand but Fountain is controlling his head. Fountain seems a little lost for a moment, as ss dominates the positioning. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fountain tries to escape but ss is in control. ss controlling from side mount. Fountain wants to control but ss postures up. ss stands up. A telegraphed right hand from ss misses the target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. ss throws a combination that misses and ss takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. ss uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fountain. ss throws a hook but Fountain blocks it. Fountain thuds his right hand into ss's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. ss will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. ss looking to pass the guard. Fountain is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fountain is on top in guard.

Fountain ducks under a wild hook from ss. Fountain is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Fountain staying out of range there. The crowd cheers as Fountain lands an impressive looking overhand right. ss doesn't seem phased though. Fountain scores with the left hand. ss knows he should have avoided that one. ss shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fountain sprawls well. Fountain wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. ss gets slowly back to his feet. ss fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

ss wants to stand up but Fountain has a hold of him and won't allow it. Fountain tries to get to full guard but ss has control of the leg. ss controlling the pace. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. ss wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fountain keeps working.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cks ss. ss throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fountain counters with a three punch combo that has ss backing up. ss nods at Fountain to acknowledge the strikes. Cks ss is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. ss throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fountain counters with a one-two to the body. Fountain catches ss with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Cks ss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. ss misses with a jab, cross combination.

Fountain slips under a jab. ss misses with a shot to the body enabling Fountain to counter with a crisp jab. Fountain is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Fountain lands a head shot. ss misses with a looping right. Fountain gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. ss throws a jab when Fountain was well out of range. Fountain scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fountain moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. ss steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fountain. ss misses with an uppercut
and Fountain makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Fountain moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. ss misses with a takedown attempt - Fountain sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. ss throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fountain throws a chopping leg kick but ss manages to avoid taking any serious damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. ss comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! ss throws a sloppy body shot
and Fountain counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps ss thinking. ss throws out a token jab with nothing on it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Cks ss will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Fountain's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

ss should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Fountain closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. ss swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fountain stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fountain wants it to stay on the feet. ss takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fountain with a hook. ss just misses with a punch to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. ss fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fountain to the ground. ss is now in Fountain's guard. ss stands up from Fountain's guard - ss perhaps looking for a knockout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fountain has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fountain there as he acknowledges the shot. ss swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fountain counters with a one-two to the body. ss cracks Fountain with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. ss swinging wildly here.
ss changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fountain tries to avoid it but ss manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fountain to the ground. Fountain escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. ss lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Nice shot by Fountain. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from ss. James Fountain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cks ss. Fountain bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. A big right from ss misses.

Horrible takedown by ss or perhaps it was just good defense by Fountain which made him look bad. ss misses with a right hand and Fountain counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fountain fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with ss, pushing him back against the cage. Fountain pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cks ss is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Fountain swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! ss throws a right hand that misses
and Fountain counters with a straight right hand. ss misses with the combination.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. ss throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fountain counters with a good low kick that ss was not able to check. Fountain scores with a punch to the head. James Fountain has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! ss drops his hands momentarily and Fountain takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Fountain. I think ss has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as Porunov checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Porunov blocks a leg kick. Bordado misses with a looping right. Bordado feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Porunov's calf. Bordado throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Porunov shoots for a double leg takedown but Bordado sprawls well. He's pushed Porunov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bordado throws a quick inside leg kick. Bordado scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Some wild striking there from Bordado.
Porunov takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Porunov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's one minute gone in the round. Good leg kick by Bordado there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Porunov looks for a takedown but Bordado sprawls well. Bordado connects with a nice cross there... Porunov is looking wobbly and Bordado recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Porunov to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Bordado jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Steiner moves in looking to clinch but Cessini pushes him off. No joy there for Steiner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ignazio Cessini hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Steiner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cessini.

Steiner works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A momentary lapse in concentration from Steiner enables Cessini to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Steiner manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Cessini has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Steiner to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Cessini is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Steiner pulls down on the head and he's put Cessini to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garp takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Storm Garp has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Zaitsef lands a lovely overhand right. Vitali Zaitsef seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Garp lands a lovely overhand right. Garp uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zaitsef.
Zaitsef blocks a jab. Zaitsef drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. A looping hook to the body misses from Garp. Zaitsef does a little dance to reset his feet. Zaitsef keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Garp. Garp drops Zaitsef with a beautiful combination! Zaitsef stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Garp is looking for the KO! Garp dances in with a quick combination. Zaitsef is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Garp snaps Zaitsef's head back. Zaitsef stumbles backwards against the cage. Garp steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Zaitsef's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Zaitsef just didn't come prepared.
