The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Leka. Dwight does a little dance to reset his feet.
Leka tries to clinch there but Dwight circles away.
Leka shoots in but Dwight avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Leka shoots in and drives through. Dwight sprawls well.
Dwight tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Leka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dwight moves out of range as Leka throws a body kick.

Leka rushes Dwight and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Leka stalling the fight.
Leka gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dwight.

Leka works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Leka is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dwight has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Leka is looking to defend but Dwight has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Leka! Dwight pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Leka taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Connor Dwight!
A very excited looking Connor Dwight rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tulos throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Walpole was covering up waiting for the punch and Tulos finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tulos throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Walpole escapes and throws Tulos's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Walpole thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Tulos wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Walpole has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Tulos's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Tulos is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Walpole!

Nakki has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for McDonald. Oh but Nakki has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! McDonald goes limp - he's gone! Nakki jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Leblond lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Zuckerkorn has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Zuckerkorn and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Leblond takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Zuckerkorn motions for Leblond to come forward. Zuckerkorn throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
