The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hobson dives in and scores a takedown into Hardin's guard. Hardin is trying to control the position but Hobson postures up. Hobson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hobson working some strikes from top position. Hobson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hobson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Hardin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hobson defends it easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hobson controlling from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hobson lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hardin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hobson controls the pace. Hobson stopping the sweep attempt from Hardin. Hobson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mitchell Hobson. Hobson rushes Hardin and presses him up against the cage.

Hobson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hardin looks to clinch and Hobson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hardin is looking to stand up but Hobson isn't so interested in that idea. Hobson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Hobson lands a decent elbow from side control. Hobson has hold of Hardin's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hardin seems comfortable defending it but Hobson has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hardin is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hardin is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hobson couldn't care less - he's delighted!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sangweni throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Ulrik crashing down! Ulrik tries to stagger back to his feet but Sangweni just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Ulrik asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kong looks for a takedown but Breznik sprawls well. Breznik rushes Kong and presses him up against the cage. Kong throws a head punch that misses. Breznik trying to stall but Kong improves his position.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Matthews thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ivy is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Ivy manages to work his way to half guard, despite Matthews's best efforts. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Tennant finds it's way through Del Norte's defenses. Del Norte throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tennant was covering up waiting for the punch and Del Norte finishes the takedown easily into guard. Tennant has control of Del Norte's left arm, preventing Del Norte from doing any damage. Del Norte loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Del Norte throws a big right hand that misses. Del Norte looking to sit in guard and control but Tennant gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Del Norte not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Del Norte scoring with punches from side control. Del Norte tries to score with some ground and pound. Tennant controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Del Norte throws a strike aimed at the side of Tennant's head but Tennant avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Antifanz Del Norte will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Will he be able to recover?!! Tennant sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Del Norte's defenses. It connects perfectly with Del Norte's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santucho takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Brady is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Brady pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brady has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Santucho. Santucho scores with a jab to the jaw. A leg kick checked by Santucho. Brady rushes Santucho and presses him up against the cage. Santucho has Brady pushed against the cage. Santucho is trying to break the clinch but Brady has him pressed against the cage. Brady drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Santucho gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Santucho working hard to break the clinch. Brady has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Santucho is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Santucho displaying some good clinch control by pressing Brady up against the cage. Brady looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Santucho breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Santucho scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Brady is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Santucho is controlling him well. Santucho sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Brady is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brady is looking to regain half guard here but Santucho keeps moving and retains side control. Brady takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Brady is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Santucho asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santucho throws a strike aimed at the side of Brady's head but Brady avoids it well. Brady bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Santucho throws a chopping leg kick but Brady manages to avoid taking any serious damage. No luck for Santucho with that takedown attempt. Santucho displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brady. Pablo Santucho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Brady. Brady tries to close the distance and clinch up but Santucho swats him away and circles back towards the center. Santucho closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Brady did well to prevent Santucho getting side control. Brady is refusing to be controlled, as Santucho sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brady works his way to full guard. Good work. Santucho lands a couple of elbows. Brady preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Santucho stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brady swivels though and keeps the full guard. Brady avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Santucho chips away with some ground and pound. Santucho has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Santucho is looking to work some ground and pound but Brady has wrist control. Santucho preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Santucho throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Brady is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Brady tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Brady pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Santucho bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Brady is trying to get back to half guard.

Brady working for a triangle but Santucho defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Santucho stops Brady from standing up. Santucho trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brady is wriggling around but Santucho manages to pass to half guard.

Brady throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Brady rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Santucho moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Brady tries for a takedown but Santucho sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Brady throws a hook but Santucho blocks it. Brady shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Santucho defends it nicely. Brady on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Brady moves in looking to clinch but Santucho pushes him off. Santucho bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Brady is not in a great position here, taking some shots. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brady defending against the ground and pound. Santucho in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Santucho connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Brady some visible discomfort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santucho passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Brady! Santucho with shots to the head and body - Brady looks very uncomfortable down there. Santucho with the ground and pound from mount.
It looks like Bobby Brady has been cut. Brady takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Santucho pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Brady in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee warns Brady that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Brady is rocked! Santucho postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Brady in real trouble here! The ref calls for Brady to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hodgins misses with a takedown attempt and Garcia counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Garcia looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Hodgins has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Garcia can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hodgins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Garcia doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Garcia manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hodgins has his foot on Garcia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Garcia works his way back into a safe position though. Garcia throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hodgins works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hodgins is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Garcia defends well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Garcia is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Hodgins keeping moving, preventing Garcia from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hodgins wants to sweep but no luck. Garcia trying to control the position from guard on top but Hodgins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Garcia keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hodgins's head. Hodgins trying to keep a closed guard but Garcia is proving a slippery customer.

Alexander Hodgins decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bellamy clinches. Bellamy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bellamy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ross swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bellamy stuffs the takedown. Bellamy's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bellamy duly obliges.
It looks like Ryan Ross has been cut. Bellamy lands a left and a right that send Ross crashing to the mat, dazed. Bellamy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ross tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bellamy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ross somewhat. Ross shoots in for a takedown but Bellamy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Ross. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bellamy feints a jab and as Ross dips his head, Bellamy unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Ross right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Ross falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Bellamy smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Samuel Bellamy! A relieved looking Samuel Bellamy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Gaston wants to clinch and Myers counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Myers pounces like a tiger and cracks Gaston with a vicious hook! Gaston is down but not out! Myers follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

After the fight, Mike Myers was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
