0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Joe Kid! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kahaunaele slaps away a takedown attempt from Kid, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kahaunaele shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kahaunaele showed some decent athleticism there. Still in half guard, Kahaunaele seems content to control. Kahaunaele prevents Kid from standing back up.
Kahaunaele is taking a breather. Kid says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kid wants to get back to his feet.

Wyrzykowski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wyrzykowski lands in his opponent's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wyrzykowski content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tiberous has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tiberous there as he acknowledges the shot. Tiberous closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Tiberous wants to free his trapped foot but Akamai is holding on for dear life with his legs. Akamai wants to get back to his feet.

Zeddy takes a shot right to the bread basket. Mclane goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mclane throws a one two combo.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mclane is defended easily by Zeddy. Zeddy takes a shot right to the bread basket. Mclane scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Zeddy gets a takedown into half guard. Zeddy wants to take a breather but Mclane is having none of it. Zeddy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Mclane looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Zeddy is taking a breather. Mclane says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Mclane tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zeddy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mclane takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Zeddy wants to control but Mclane is keeping him busy. Zeddy working away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zeddy is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Mclane will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Mclane tries to buck Zeddy off but Zeddy is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Zed Zeddy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Zeddy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thompson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Good standup being displayed there by Thompson as he connects with a hook. Thompson leaves Prodigy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Prodigy shoots in but no luck this time. Prodigy looks for a takedown but Thompson sprawls well. Ed Thompson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gram Prodigy. Thompson cracks Prodigy with an uppercut from hell and Prodigy crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Thompson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Prodigy is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thompson loads up on a big left hand. Prodigy felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Thompson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Prodigy can't hide his disappointment, as Thompson celebrates the victory.

Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crow looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Lanastar checks a leg kick. Crow throws a leg kick that misses. Lanastar scores with a nice right hand.
Lanastar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Crow pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lanastar is out of range and Crow settles back down. Crow looks to land a right hand but Lanastar moved out of range. Lanastar missing with a left hand there. Crow was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lanastar looks to throw the jab but Crow is out of range. Lanastar lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
It looks like Jack Crow has been cut. Crow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lanastar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crow somewhat. Lanastar throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crow throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lanastar tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Crow is in Lanastar's guard. Crow is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Crow wants to pass the guard but Lanastar is keeping the position. Lanastar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lanastar tries to get out of the position. Lanastar tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crow seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Lanastar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crow on the ground. Lanastar preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lanastar is trying to control the position but Crow postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Crow swings away with a leg kick that misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crow comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Lanastar checks a leg kick nicely. Lanastar changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Crow moves out of range as Lanastar strikes. Crow uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Lanastar misses the shot to the body. Lanastar throws a hook but Crow blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lanastar throws a right hand that Crow ducks under and follows up with a left that Crow also avoids with ease. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lanastar checks a leg kick. Lanastar throws out a loose jab but Crow uses good head movement to avoid it. Lanastar checks a low kick from Crow. Lanastar tries to clinch but Crow is having none of it. Lanastar throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Crow stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nice defenses there by Crow. Crow finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lanastar lands a body shot.
Lanastar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crow throws a low kick but Lanastar avoids it. Lanastar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lanastar wants it to stay on the feet. Lanastar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Crow moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Crow missing with a left hand there. Lanastar was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Crow walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lanastar checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lanastar, as that shot connected.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crow is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lanastar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jamie Lanastar is winning the standup battle so far. Lanastar walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Crow drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Lanastar swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Crow's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Stevenson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Stevenson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clendennon manages to avoid it. Stevenson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Clendennon but Clendennon pushes him off and we're back to square one. Clendennon swings for the body but Stevenson moves out of range.

The crowd cheers as Clendennon lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stevenson doesn't seem phased though. Clendennon misses with a leg kick. Clendennon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stevenson. Clendennon connects with a body shot that sends Stevenson's belly button to the back. A punch combination from Stevenson misses. Stevenson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Clendennon, right into the meat.

It looks like Steve Stevenson has been cut. Stevenson takes a knee to the side of the body. Stevenson is breathing heavily. Clendennon comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Clendennon tries to land a knee to the head but Stevenson blocks with his arms.
Clendennon lands an elbow inside. Clendennon is struggling to control the position. Clendennon keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stevenson's efforts to push away. Clendennon comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Clendennon scores with a hook to the body. Clendennon lands a damaging elbow.

He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Yackey pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bear tumbling to the mat - Yackey dives into Bear's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Yackey tries to stand but Bear is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yackey is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Yackey prevents Bear from getting back to his feet. Bear keeping moving, preventing Yackey from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jimmy Yackey. Bear throws a lazy head kick and Yackey counters by moving into the clinch. Bear blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Yackey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Yackey drops his hands momentarily and Bear takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Bear lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yackey circles away quickly and effectively. Bear throws a big shot that misses. Bear throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Yackey swivels and escapes. Yackey gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A nice right hand lands inside from Yackey. Bear is trying to push Yackey away but Yackey has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bear manages to pull guard.

Yackey tries to close the distance and clinch but Bear swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Horrible takedown by Yackey or perhaps it was just good defense by Bear which made him look bad. Bear lands a lovely overhand right. Bear throws a right hand that misses
so Yackey counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Yackey trying to control but Bear is working from the bottom. Bear trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bear is on top in guard.
Yackey is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Molito misses the jab. Molito keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rokusho. Good shot there by Molito. Molito tries to clinch up. Molito misses with a body shot.
Molito uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rokusho.
Molito with a nice cross. Molito scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rokusho doesn't seem bothered though. Molito scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Molito takes a swing at Rokusho's ribcage but misses. Rokusho's corner calls for a 1-2. Rokusho obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Molito steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rokusho. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rokusho tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Molito was well out of range. Poor timing from Rokusho. Molito connects with a right hand. Rokusho shakes it off. Rokusho is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Molito.
That's one minute gone in the round. Molito takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Molito avoids a punch combination nicely.

Molito clobbers Rokusho with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Molito dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Rokusho avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Rokusho blocks a low kick nicely. Molito tests Rokusho's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nice defenses there by Molito. The fight stays on the outside here - Molito looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rokusho gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Molito. A big left from Rokusho misses. Molito swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rokusho scores with a hook to the body. Molito takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Rokusho uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Molito. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Good leg kick by Molito there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Molito looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Molito rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rokusho moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Enrique Molito seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Molito takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Molito takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. A leg kick checked by Rokusho. Molito throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Some bone on bone action there as Rokusho checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Molito tries to move into range but Rokusho moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Molito misses with a body shot.
Molito fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Molito closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Molito turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Molito feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Rokusho crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Enrique Molito decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
