Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George Tuck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steven Daly! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tuck throws a head kick that misses. A head kick misses from Daly. Tuck shoots in but Daly avoids the takedown attempt easily. Daly keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tuck shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Tuck drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Daly dives on top into guard. Tuck controls Daly momentarily but Daly frees himself. Daly stands up and waves to Tuck to follow him. Daly fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tuck to the ground. Daly is now in Tuck's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tuck has an active guard here but Daly has managed to pass into half guard.
Tuck wants to get back to full guard but Daly has mounted him!
That's one minute gone in the round. Tuck is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Tuck avoids a series of strikes thrown by Daly.
Daly is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Tuck to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Tuck shrugs it off. Daly stands up from mount. Strange move. Daly fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tuck to the ground. Daly is now in Tuck's guard. Tuck keeping moving, preventing Daly from controlling successfully. Tuck is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Daly has his hands clasped together but Tuck extends an breaks Daly's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Tuck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Campbell gets caught napping as Adama dives in and scores a takedown. Campbell manages to retain guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Campbell is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Adama tries for a takedown but Campbell manages to get underhooks.
Campbell has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Adama clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Adama manages to stand up with Campbell still on his back. Eventually Campbell drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position. Adama shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Campbell manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Adama in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Campbell can't keep his opponent in guard - Adama advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Campbell punching from the bottom.
Adama really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Campbell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Campbell avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Adama. Adama is looking to take a break and control but Campbell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adama trying to control from Campbell's half guard. Campbell has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Campbell avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Adama must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Adama got a little sloppy there for a moment and Campbell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Adama has managed to get both his arms back between Campbell's legs - danger averted. Campbell lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Adama! Adama is trying to escape the mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Campbell has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Adama looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Adama looking to score a takedown here. Campbell is defending well but Adama drives through and ends up in Campbell's guard. Adama looks winded! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Adama working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Adama looking to pass the guard. Adama lands a couple of elbows. Campbell pushes Adama off and scrambles back to his feet.

Liam Eoin Campbell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pasaltha Adama. Campbell cracks Adama with a solid left hand. Campbell trying to control the position from guard on top but Adama is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Campbell slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Adama wants to sweep but no luck. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Adama can do anything to dispel that myth. Campbell controls from within his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Campbell looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Campbell is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Adama motions for Campbell to come forward. Adama throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Campbell looks to score with a jab to the body but Adama is just out of range. Adama blocks a jab. Adama shoots and misses and Campbell counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Adama wants to improve his position but Campbell is controlling well.
Campbell thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Adama's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Campbell creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Campbell decides to take the fight back to the feet. Campbell shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Adama is trying to defend but Campbell finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Campbell shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Campbell was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Adama is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Campbell has taken his back.

Adama has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Campbell is working away from the top position though.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
And that's the end of the fight! Liam Eoin Campbell showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Campbell, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
